Amazing lunch in #Paris today with my dear friend @adriannacatena, who is one of the coolest people in the world. Adrianna looks after @elenemigowines in #Argentina, @bodegaelreventon in #Spain, and also works as a vital part of @catenazapata based in #Mendoza with her family. #🫶 Shout-out to @pablo__ts, head chef @restaurantsemilla for serving us the most gorgeous guinea fowl I’ve had in a very long time, and to sommelier Virgile for your warm hospitality!

After a week of letdowns at buzzy new openings, Semilla was the antidote. This Saint-Germain bistro has always had one of the best wine lists in Paris, and the kitchen has now caught up to the cellar. ⁠

– Cappelletti, langoustine bisque⁠
– Maigre, sauce Saint-Germain⁠, gnocchi in bacon cream⁠

– Citrus and fennel mousse⁠
– Chocolate and buckwheat⁠

A year ago, one half of this duo convinced our whole family to go to France. The pitch was this: a week of rose drinking, exploring beautiful towns in Provence, sitting by the pool, family time, cooking healthy meals from the markets.

Fast forward to now: a magical week spent in Paris and Eygalieres, doing exactly as was billed.
