I know Im not alone?

Its no joke, my brain was crap, I couldn’t focus for more than 1/2 a second and

Paired with brain fog, daily naps and zero energy.. you’ve got one very crazy rollercoaster

Its when I decided that I had to become a student and advocate for myself.

I started understanding gut health benefits and all the side effects that occur when your gut is out of whack. Something as simple as sugar cravings and making sleep a priority

Removing foods that may cause inflammation, irritability and gas, and introducing foods that are gut friendly and hormone friendly.

Its been 12 months since this, and I was able to focus long enough to make this reel and write this post.. I say I’m winning the day

Truth, the clarity and focus Ive regained has been extraordinary, there are so many benefits to your health when you learn and implement maintaining a healthy gut. It’s truly our second brain and the commander of our bodies.

Id love to show you how you can start, just like I did.

Beyond the scale starts Sept 4th and we are diving head first into how you can feel optimal again

Okay, here's the thing. Our little human brains only have the capacity to focus and make finite decisions about a handful of things each day.

And when we force ourselves to make decisions about every single tiny nutrition situation, we're not being smart or discerning enough.
Because not every nutrition decision carries the same weight in terms of actual results. Outcomes will be noticeable and important for only a HANDFUL of things. And THOSE are the decisions that deserve your actual attention. Don't waste your brain space on minute decisions that have virtually no impact on outcomes

Obsessive eaters aren't discerning and we don't discriminate. I know 'cause I was one* Every single nutrition decision felt monumental. Each decision felt as though it would make or break my results. And I was neurotic about making the "right" decision every time, and I'd crumble if I thought I was "messing up
When come to find out, not many things actually matter. can artificial sweeteners f up your GI? Maybe. Adjust if necessary. Try to use stevia. Can sodium make you retain water? Maybe. But spending hours stressing over it is a waste of your time. Also There's less than a 2g fiber difference between a 1/2 cup of brown rice vs white rice and less than 1g difference in protein. EAT WHICHEVER YOU LIKE BETTER.

Truth, Eating is individual. And while there are certainly best practices like, I think we can all agree eating fruits and veggies are good. That getting enough protein is important.
That hydration is key. nutrition is SO MUCH more than a list of the "right foods" to eat. Or just eating for "fuel." Knowing what's healthy versus not isn't rocket science.

we stress about things that don't matter. And ironically, in my experience, you have to get to the point of overconsumption of information and complete mental overwhelm to finally realize that eatings quite simple. Not many things are huge dial-movers. But the ones that are ... do those consistently, to the best of your ability.

Get your mind right, gain perspective and manage your expectations and you'll have a lot more success long-term than you ever will by trying to prepare and follow the most perfect foods list
