Jimmy Buffett’s Permanent Reminder of a Temporary Feeling

🎥 Tales from MargaritaVision (Kellam, McGrath, Ramos, Buffett)

What a special day yesterday spent with Stan Kellam, Jimmy’s longtime videographer, and Karen Poth, who is curating the permanent Jimmy Buffett exhibit at the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf in Mobile. It’s just wonderful and so meaningful that Mobile, our hometown, is the setting for this beautiful project. 🌊⚓️🎶

Watching it all come to life ahead of its September opening has been emotional, inspiring, and so meaningful. It is such an incredible honor to celebrate Jimmy’s life, music, storytelling, and adventurous spirit in a way that folks will be able to experience and enjoy for years to come. ❤️

I’m so proud and grateful to be involved and working alongside such passionate and talented people who truly understand Jimmy’s legacy. Thank you, Stan and Karen, and your amazing teams for your dedication, heart, and vision. September can’t come soon enough. 🌴🦜

It occurred to me today how appropriate it was that Jimmy was born on Christmas Day, a holiday celebrated by millions around the world for centuries.
Jimmy’s family, friends, fans, and Parrotheads have an extra reason to celebrate on this blessed, holy day of remembrance.
We also celebrate Jimmy’s birth, life, and the musical gifts he provided us, along with the positive impact he had on so many of us.
Warm regards from sunny Florida!

💫✨ 💕 It was a most wonderful reunion with some of my favorite people @lulusgulfshores last night. I can’t wait to see the Coral Reefers hit the stage at The Wharf (@thewharfamp) in Orange Beach tonight. #thecoralreeferband #lulusgulfshores #keepthepartygoing

👋🏼 Hey y’all!

Back in October, I decided to take a break from social media. It wasn’t supposed to last this long, but it felt good so I stuck with it. I’m back now and have a lot of updates to share

First off, “Bob Trevino Likes It” is now streaming on Hulu!! It’s the last movie I worked on, and it has received some great reviews. If you haven’t watched it yet, I highly recommend checking it out! @bobtrevinolikesit

This year has been full of work and travel. I spent a couple of months on tour with the cellist Hauser across North America. The crew was phenomenal, the video team was kick ass, and we hit some iconic venues. (Radio City Music Hall!) @jordantaylormedia @dunkmans

Immediately after that, I joined AJR for their “Somewhere in the Sky” tour. The creativity in these shows was on another level, all of the fun ideas and collaboration made every day so exciting. Working alongside incredible souls like @restlessdog and @jerms_593 is always an absolute privilege, and the entire crew has a way of making you feel right at home. This was a really special tour, and I’m so excited to see what’s next.

In early September I’ll head out again for my third tour of the year, this time with @turnstileluvconnection
Their energy is contagious, the opening acts are great, and the video team assembled for this show is something I’m really looking forward to.

Looking back, this year has reminded me how grateful I am to be surrounded by such talented, inspiring and kind people and to be part of projects that push me to grow. I’m excited to see what the rest of the year holds. Here are a few photos from the road so far. 😊

Ep.2 Intro to Cupcake 🧁

Every crew has a hero. Ours just happened to be named Cupcake. He didn’t wear a cape, he wore cargo shorts and carried a roll of gaff tape. When chaos hit Bus 4, Cupcake hit back… with a Leatherman and a sarcastic one-liner. Episode 2 of Meat Grinder Express is live. Buckle up
