Gotta keep taking more risks! Gotta keep going! Put me infront of a camera to talk any day and I will be there! A producer on set! Me and my partner in grind! Driven in style and comfort by Lexus for Decorex🥺 A warm chai that felt like a really long tight hug 🥰 Of course I had something to say in this moment 🤣

Decorex 2026 was such a treat! As someone who is always working on the set of a production and who dreams of building and creating a home that is filled with amazing design and creativity this was so exciting to experience! After walking through 5 floors of exceptional creativity and design I was taken aback to say the least. The craftsmanship, the attention to detail and the atmosphere of people filling the rooms with their enthusiasm and appreciation for well thought out design-I know I will be going back next year! It was evident on every single floor that design has evolved, as has the interpretation and innovation of it. Everywhere I looked, creativity showed up through colours, patterns, textures and so much more. Thank you so much to @decorexafrica , @sinnamon_pr and @lexus_southafrica for making the day as incredible as it was!

The Design Share Party (DSP) talks began in 2013, as a labour of love. The talks were established with one idea in mind: become a place where anyone interested in creativity could go and listen to creatives share their thoughts, works and lives. For the first DSP talks we thought about 10 people would attend. Over time, attendance surpassed our expectations with an average of 200 people attending each event. The talks had no themes, no gimmicks, no unnecessary rules, no snootiness, no VIPs. We were all equal and there for the same reason: to celebrate creativity. Where the old DSP Talks aimed to democratise - the re-founded DSP celebrates the making and makers of creativity. The age of AI, virality and fast culture treats the creative process as an inconvenience on the way to profit. Which leads to ill considered, emotionless and templated output. Under the project FRESHMADE (The new DSP Talks) we slow it down to celebrate the making and makers of creativity. The format has not changed much... We want to hear creatives speak about their lives, thoughts and works. We respect the dignity, independence and integrity of every creatives' vision so we want to hear from the horses' mouth. Inclusivity and transparency are love in action, so more of that. We're working on speaker lineups and hope to call on old and new friends. If we follow you know that your name is on our list. We will be calling you at some point in the near future. Yes... you too. This one is for those that love and respect well made creativity. Chat soon soon.

We Shape Our Buildings and Afterwards Our buildings Shape us - Christopher Roosen Full quote... “On the night of 10th May, 1941, with one of the last bombs of the last serious raid, our House of Commons was destroyed by the violence of the enemy, and we have now to consider whether we should build it up again, and how, and when. We shape our buildings and afterwards our buildings shape us. Having dwelt and served for more than 40 years in the late Chamber, and having derived fiery great pleasure and advantage therefrom, I, naturally, would like to see it restored in all essentials to its old form, convenience and dignity.” (Winston Churchill, Hansards)
