What a fun yet challenging day of FPV drone racing. Similar to the official MultiGP Canada 2020 Series race track in terms of amount of elements, this one was tougher (even for @race_miata, the track designer lol)! Still, everyone did remarkably well, considering. Next race, we'll be back to a simpler track, promise! When is the next race, you ask? August 22. Save the date! We also welcomed 1 new pilot debuting at drone racing: @e.sewell.fpv ewell, who, by the way, did pretty good for his first race. Keep it up! Big thanks, once again, to the Riverside Flyers Club for having us. We really appreciate all the help during setup and tear down, we could not do it without you all. Oh and thank you, Mother Nature, for not raining on us all day ! Photos: @zenith.fpv

We give you the top 3-consecutive-laps results from the 2020 Canadian @MultiGP Series event from past Saturday. Congrats to @Zenith.FPV for securing first with 1:06.786s, followed by our race director @Klawlz13 with 1:07.037s and @FlyWithMeFPV on 3rd with 1:07.818s. All very tight results! Shoutout to @Retro.604 for coming in hot with a 6th position, as well as @Pairadime and @Matt.Desousa debuting at outdoor drone racing with impressive standings. Everyone did remarkably well in this not-so-easy course! And the "Most Epic Crash" award goes to @ParrotFPV: When getting ready to start racing, his quad misbehaved and started climbing full throttle up to about 50m! and dropped dead, slowly falling towards the parking lot, crashing right in between 2 parked cars!! (no cars or drones were injured in the making). We hope you'll enjoy your new @TranstecHobby Laser S frame, courteously donated by @TeamCanada.FPV. Moving forward, we will be publishing pilots' qualifying times and compare them with previous events (specially if the same track), to help track your progress. Better late than never! We finally kicked off the 2020 Open Outdoor Series with a windy day of racing at the Riverside Flyers club field. We ran the @MultiGP UTT10 track designed by @ragingacanadianfpv, which ended up being a great track choice for many pilots needing the practice on a simple track. The fastest lap time went to @gab707_fpv with 11.36s 🤯! Congrats to him for winning the mains🥇with 2 consecutive wins during chase the ace at the finals. 🥈goes to @illmattak and 🥉 to @zenith.fpv.

Yesterday was another fun and intense day of racing with KwadsRUs' friends in Yarrow, Chilliwack. This time, we flew a slightly modified version of the track #1 from the Canadian MultiGP Series 2019 Championships. Super fun track to fly. Thank you to everyone that came and helped setting up early in the morning, and staid til the end to tear down. We could have not done it without you!

Had a blast hanging out with @zenith.fpv and @retro.604. Zenith is definitely an ‘ass’ guy, he kept rear-ending people, me included. ___________________________________________ → Facebook Group: https://goo.gl/nN4zxH → Facebook Page: https://goo.gl/YwfCTz → Website: http://www.airbladeuav.com → Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/airbladeuav/ → Email: support@airbladeuav.com ___________________________________________ @alderboyfpv @tenfpv @randommoon_fpv @retro.604 @quaddiction @stew_alcock @veysi.fpv @tobitobi_fpv @multigp @stradith.604 @armonic_fpv @fancyfuchs @mattbintn @therealjonnyd @twenty4sevendrones
