POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Wait a minute!? You’re telling me you haven’t been keeping up with our system launch tournament special, where we debate the games launched for each system and determine a winner, bracket style? Well if you listened to Episode 14 (Paperboy), you would have heard the vicious debate on saturn vs 3DO and the N64 vs Turbografx-16. Or how about the timeless battle between the Dreamcast and Jaguar launch games? Here is the latest results. On our next episode, we’ll tackle SNES vs Atari 7800 and Dreamcast vs Playstation 1. Search ‘The Turbo Duo Cast’ in YouTube to watch or you can find us on most podcast services. Oh, and our game topic for Episode 15 might be Doom... Okay, it’s Doom.

THE SHOT vs. BEHIND THE SCENES
I especially love this one because it shows how amazing my camera is in low light!

It was a long road, but our American Sega Saturn collection is finally complete. It wasn’t easy and took a lot of dedication and patience over about 7 years. Almost as much a relief as it is a thrill, the Saturn deserves way more of a following than it ever got. We have to thank our good friends over the years helping us through this, including @millennialgamer91 , @retro_junk_1987 , @trenchguntom , @thegridgames , ‘my brothers from another game show lover’ @trentonthedrums , and Sal’s amazing wife Liz for supporting him throughout this endeavor. Be sure to listen to the boys talk all about the journey it’s taken them on The Turbo Duocast Episode 14, which will be dropping next week. Btw, the last game to come in was the immortal NBA JAM extreme. Long live @sega , and long live the #segasaturn . #sega #retrocollector #retrocollective #classicgaming #retrogaming #32bit #blackisbetter #itsstillrealtomedammit

It’s Sal’s birthday here on the Turbo Duo! Besides the people we love, and Taylor Dayne’s ‘Tell It To My Heart’, we cant think of a better way to celebrate than by playing one of the very best Saturn titles, Dragon Force! This is honestly a revolutionary game that hits the sweet spot between combat, strategy, and resource management. Such an addictive and satisfying title! Play it if you can! And they say Saturn can’t do transparencies 🙄. Thanks for all the well wishes! Keep an eye out for our Final Fight 2 & 3 episode dropping soon. And keep it Turbo!!! #birthday #retrogaming #sega #segasaturn #workingdesigns #32bit #itsoutthere #videogames #strategy #rpg #rpggames #thebest #itsstillrealtomedammit #dealwithit
