With so many people I know recommending @rettasscoops by @alexander.nevermind, I knew we had to stop by. I can honestly say I’ve never experienced anything quite like his dessert tasting menu at the chef’s counter.

Ben has such a wonderfully inventive mind. The unexpected flavor combinations were delicious, and hearing his perspective made me appreciate the thought and care behind each course even more. I never knew corn chicharrón was a thing, but thank goodness I do now!

Thank you, Ben, for such a unique, delicious, and welcoming experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end our night.

We’re still not over this one 🍦🍺🥃

Last week’s Ice Cream Social was such a good time! We paired our beers with @angelsenvy bourbon and @rettasscoops ice cream for a night full of tasty sips, sweet bites, and some seriously good pairings.

Big thank you to everyone who came out and hung with us!

What's the best ice cream on earth? Free ice cream!

What's the second best? Retta's!!

Come here now and I'll buy you a scoop, just tell Chef Ben why you're here! You don't even need to talk to me, like me, or subscribe to me! Just eat this food and thank Ben!

A few weeks ago we got to try the new @angelsenvy release that was made just for us. @oven_mitten said he used the stout finish for @crooked_toe and the Amburana for @ryancecil22. Well, he nailed it. If you are headed to KBF don’t miss this great release. Oh, and if you’re in town and want a dessert experience (yes, it’s an experience) make sure you check out @rettasscoops. Last time I was there I had the prosciutto ice cream. Yes, 🐷. Happy KBF folks!!

Confession: we have a mountain of crazy pictures and videos from Retta's that we haven't shared for reasons:

1) it is impossible to capture how awesome this place is.

2) it is extremely difficult to look at the pictures without licking our phone

3) this place is SO FREAKING special to us that we want to secretly keep it to ourselves. Please don't ruin this for us! Lol.

Instead of hoarding all of this gold and agonizing how to post to do it justice, we're just going to start posting things.

Sorry if your feed is suddenly too amazing to handle. Not responsible for licked phones!

Go there and just have a scoop and chill, or we HIGHLY recommend the chef's counter to watch a master at work. It is as impressive as delicious!
