Look what we found! We rediscovered an article from 2005 where the one and only; one of our most admired and loved, Kristi Lee not only celebrated our beloved Broad Ripple Village, but named Just Pop In! Gourmet Popcorn as one of her favorite things. 🧡🍿 TWENTY ONE years ago! 🤯💖 Those were the days when we shopped Turandot and Big Hat Books! ☺️ Our neighbs, Rusted Moon🌙 was a fave too, naturally!

Kristi Lee, gosh darn it! You are the definition of an Indiana badass! She is an Indianapolis native, an Indiana University alum (like us 👯‍♀️), a broadcasting trailblazer, one of the first female television engineers at WRTV, a longtime voice on one of the most iconic radio shows, Bob & Tom, in the country and a proud member of the Indiana Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame. Annnnnddddd… she was recently awarded, Radio Ink’s 2026 Most Influential Women in Radio!

For decades, Kristi has brought intelligence, humor, kindness, authenticity and a little bit of Hoosier grit to the airwaves and everywhere. We’re honored that our popcorn was part of her story back in 2005 and we’re even more honored to celebrate her and the incredible women who continue to inspire us.
