A silver medal to finish the 2026 season! 🥈
This result made me the overall boulder champion this year, but first let me talk about Salt Lake City itself.

Wow- what a comp! I had never been in semis here so I knew I wanted to make the podium. The venue, the crowd, the atmosphere- it was definitely a night to remember. In the end, I did stand on the podium 😌
I want to say a big congrats to my fellow medalists. @oriane_bertone for your dominant and well deserved gold medal, your passion on the mats is contagious. and @mao___nakamura for your second medal in Salt Lake, I’m so happy for you! 🙇‍♀️

Now for the overall. Last year I won the lead overall and I joked that I didn’t want to focus on the overall for a few years. At the first boulder World Cup in China I felt powerless, so I never would have expected to be able to turn it around enough to be in this position. In the overall rankings, every competition matters. For me that is stressful, but the whole process is also the best opportunity to learn about myself and my performance.
I gave everything I had for this goal and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It feels like a privilege to have competitors and friends that push me so much. I learn a lot from you, and I am proud of all of us 🫂

Now it is finally time to take a break, relax and recover before winter training starts 🔁😌

It feels strange saying that. In some ways I still feel so young and in others I feel like I’ve lived a lifetime already.

I’ve given birth to two beautiful daughters. I’ve felt happiness I can barely put into words and sadness that I’m still learning to live with. There’s been so much stress, pain and loss, alongside laughter, love and moments I wish had lasted a little longer.

Sometimes I’m so busy getting through everything that I forget how much I’ve actually been through.

Turning 34 has made me realise that I want to live for myself too. I want to enjoy my life.. make memories with my daughter and make choices that make me happy. I want to give myself permission to have needs of my own.

That includes looking after my health. This body has carried my babies and got me through so much. I want to take care of it, listen when I need rest and give myself time without feeling guilty about it.
