POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The latest collection from Revolution Aotearoa features a design inspired by the flowing kōwhaiwhai patterns traditionally painted on the rafters of Māori meeting houses.

This collection was designed to stand alone or display as part of a curated arrangement, bringing a considered expression of modern Māori design to any space.

And just like that, CLAY comes to a close.

What an incredible weekend it was. We’re so grateful to everyone who helped bring CLAY to life, from the team behind the scenes at Little Big Events & Our Place Magazine to the incredible ceramicists who travelled from across Aotearoa to be part of it.

A huge thank you to Toi Tauranga Art Gallery for hosting us and supporting the vision, to every ceramicist who shared their work and stories, and to our wonderful team who worked behind the scenes to make the weekend happen.

And of course, thank you to everyone who came through the doors, met the makers, admired the work, purchased a piece and helped create such an amazing atmosphere across the weekend.

We couldn’t have asked for a better first CLAY 🤍 - Heidi Brickell, 'Māturuturu Trick', 2026, courtesy of the artist.

I bought my first real leather guitar strap in 1993. It has been with me through in excess of a 1000 performances I imagine. I still have it. As I enter the “twilight” years of my guitar career I thought it would be nice to have a new tāonga to enjoy and connect with. I may not last for another 30 years but this will live on. Thanks to @revolutionaotearoa #maorí #guitarist #whakapapa
