grateful, thankful, blessed (thanks to Tremfya, my care team- especially my fav nurse Dana, Alex, family, friends and animals)

I had a lot more lows than highs in both 2024 and 2025. Obviously I try to really only post about the highs unless the lows are kind of funny. This year I was officially diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. While there is no cure, I am so grateful that there is treatment. I will be on maintenance medication for the rest of my life and will likely experience a couple more lows. I have had to kind of mourn my old life (especially food- I miss being able to eat whatever I wanted) but as I have been feeling better I have been looking forward to building a new normal. These past 2 years have really helped me appreciate the good days and I’m looking forward to plenty more. I am going into 2026 with a lot of gratitude and hope. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through this rough season of life. Please don’t take your health for granted 🫶🏻
