🥤 Coca-Cola Mid-Century Glass These pieces likely began as aqua Coca-Cola bottles, made in the 1950s–1970s, when glass bottles were designed to be returned, reused, and refilled. Did you know? That soft aqua color comes from natural iron in the sand used to make the glass. Tiny air “seeds” inside were normal for mid-century bottles produced quickly and in massive numbers. Decades after the bottle was discarded and likely smashed, I came along, collected the fragments, and tumbled them in real red desert sand from Southwest Utah, giving the glass the softened, frosted look you see here. 🌵 Same bottle. We have invited a local DnB & Jungle specialist crew of the island, a group of amazing DJs with a very powerful and cool sound and deep catalogue: REWIND COLLECTIVE @rewind.collective Composed of VSC @vsc__dnb__ , CLINCH @clinchdnb & SONIQ @jose.aka.soniq they have been steamrolling the underground scene in Mallorca for many years, you can see them frequently in all the good DnB & Jungle raves here running banger after banger on the decks 🔥🔊🔥🔊🔥 They also do a really cool podcast where they introduce newly released tracks and spin some lovely tunes, check them out! 📻🎙️🌍 Come down to La Freidora Studios this weekend for a dance and catch some amazing sets recorded live in our little studio party series, a small community gathering of peers and enthusiasts sharing our love for the music. Su estilo se caracteriza por ir desde los sonidos más soulful hasta otros más metálicos e industriales.
