The fun stages of development - what I call the Foundation & Creative Stage! 🏀🧠

This stage is about teaching the game, building strong fundamentals, developing creativity, and most importantly, learning how to enjoy the “boring” part of the process. The repetition, details, mistakes, and small wins are what build players for the future.

Great summer working with Taegan & Kruse! Proud of the growth they’ve shown, and I’m looking forward to being a part of their basketball journey.

Build the foundation. Trust the process. Let them create. 💯🏀

Takai Emerson Hardy has been locked in all summer!! Coming off a historic season at cal state east bay, he was a solid rotation player. Going into this season he has set some personal goals and has shown an increased level of intensity and focus in his workouts. He is a sponge and is always asking for feedback. Excited to see him translate the work he has put in this summer!!

Another day in the office with Cayden! Playing above the rim and working on using his body to seperate from defenders!

When you combine dedication, determination, and discipline you learn how to DOMINATE!

Basketball is a GAME to many people
But
Basketball is LIFE to some!!

No matter what’s going on around me, no matter how rough life gets- There’s something about the sound of basketball that makes all the struggle and the pain go away!!

Ball handling drill of the day

Pace
Flow
Footwork
Pocket/Protect dribble

We begin every workout with a ballhandling cycle.
Ballhandling is more than just dribbling a ball, it’s understanding pace, manipulation, footwork, and ball control. This drill emphasizes floating with the ball, rhythm, and protecting the ball when being cut off on drives. Pound the ball, keep your eyes up, stay low, and control the tempo!!

Doing what you love to do is a blessing. I feel like it’s Gods work being done everyday! The opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with the youth is so rewarding.

A basketball court is where I feel most at home!
For me, it’s one place I can be where I know what I’m doing and what I’m talking about.

Grind with purpose! Grind with passion! #dominate
