Saharan morning

#SaharanDust #LandscapePhotography #BlackAndWhite #Trees #Monochrome A large tree stands in silhouette against a hazy golden morning sky, with sunlight filtering through its branches and reflecting on the lake beyond. Saharan dust in the atmosphere gives the scene a yellow warm, muted glow.

Is experiencing a solar eclipse worth it when you have low vision? 🔥

(At least, in your central vision, like me).

BIG YESSSS!!

Though in full honesty, I could not make out anything of the partial eclipse.

In the beginning looking into the sun hurt my eyes, even with the eclipse glasses on (I suppose due to my light sensitivity).

And later on once the sun was already a thin crescent moon, it was just too blurry to see a shape.

(I mentally prepared for this)

BUT ONCE YOU CAN TAKE OFF THE GLASSES!!

Totality was just magical.

I zoomed in with my phone to observe the bright yellow ring.

It contrast so sharply with the black circle in the middle that it is easy to recognize also with low vision.

There are two more eclipses coming in 20207 and 2028!

It really is worth traveling for!!!

Thank you @rex_and_ayo for calming me before this event !! 🙏🙏

Hope this helps ❤️
Marie 🌞

Projection and Reality
.
.
.
#BlackAndWhite #Shadow #GoldenRetriever #GuideDog #Summer Black-and-white photograph of a Golden Retriever walking away along a sunlit paved path. The low-angle sunlight casts a large, dark shadow across the pavement, making the dog’s silhouette appear much larger and almost wolf-like. The contrast between the gentle dog and its imposing shadow creates a striking visual impression of duality, projection, and perception.

Deutsch:

Vite parallele Black and white reflection shot taken through a train window. A man with a cap holds a phone and stands next to a suitcase, his golden retriever guide dog sitting patiently at his feet. Inside the train, passengers are chatting around a table with drinks. The reflection blends both scenes, creating a surreal, overlapping moment of travel and stillness.
