Throwback 2-18-18 Behind the scenes for Rakeem Miles That’s My Girl music video in North Hollywood, CA at @realdealstudio I just got a new back up external hard drive & was looking through folders of saved photos & video’s. I’m going to have to upload the BTS videos of this. I was a point & shoot guy for the longest shooting on jpg 🤢🤮 until 2023 I wanted to be more serious & now a professional photographer, hope y’all are doing well my guys.

Just take the leap.

If you ever wonder if you should take that leap, just do it. Almost 8 years ago I quit my job to do my dream job. The first check was only $87 Not gonna lie, I second-guessed my choice. I even went and got a second job, but I realized that wasn't it either. So I stuck it out and made it work. Of course there was a lot of turbulence during that time, from my first (and only) bodybuilding show, a failing relationship, not making enough money initially, and so much more. If that wasn't enough, here comes the pandemic. We all got fucked somehow from that. Even with all that, I came out on the other side better. The next difficult decision that I had to make was going at it solo as a business owner after working for someone for years. Even though I wasn't alone because of my beautiful wife, walked this path with me. During all this change, we decided to get married to add more change lol. All good changes though. With all that said, I decided to make this post because I'm sitting here in my office overviewing my day and realized how far I've come. I'm nowhere near my overall goal by any means, but I'm closer than I have been before. Over the last 7 1/2 years, I've made connections with so many new people, added new lifelong friends to my circle, met my wife through my dream job, and started so many side opportunities from just doing what I love. So if you ever question if it will work, it will. Of course, have a plan and be patient. There will be times when you have to hurry up and wait.
