Genre-defying British musician @rexorangecounty revisits his beloved 2017 single ‘Best Friend’ in a special intimate performance live from one of his fan’s homes in Malaysia. Trading traditional venues for the warmth and spontaneity of a living room, the innovative setting turns the moment into a close celebration of friendship, connection and the magic of live music

The performance is part of Rex’s ongoing series of intimate house concerts around the world, which has brought him closer to some of his biggest fans. Announcing locations at short notice through his side account @lennyemeralds, Rex has been turning fans’ homes into impromptu show venues while letting audiences choose each setlist from across his decade-long catalogue, making each show a unique experience

After teasing the project with ‘Indecision’ featuring @danielcaesar and ‘Grandma Song’, Rex has announced his sixth studio album ‘Dream Fatigue’ arriving on November 6. He has also revealed a handful of album release shows across the UK to celebrate the record, including two London dates featuring conversations between Rex and his friend @mustafathepoet, who features on the album and is also one of its co-executive producers. We’ll certainly be there!

Genre-defying British musician @rexorangecounty reunites with GRAMMY-winning Ontario artist @danielcaesar for the live performance of their new collaboration ‘Indecision’, bringing the track’s intimate and introspective character to life

After collaborating on the two-track bundle ‘Rearrange My World / There’s A Field (That’s Only Yours)’ in 2025, the pair have teamed up again for this tender and reflective track that explores the uncertainty, vulnerability and emotional hesitation that can emerge when navigating complicated feelings within a relationship

For this excellent live performance, backed only by Daniel’s beautiful guitar accompaniment, the pair brilliantly capture the emotional core of the track with their soft and delicate vocals filling out the same expansive Montana outdoor natural setting that featured in the music video

For Rex, the single offers a glimpse into his highly anticipated sixth studio album and follow-up to 2024’s ‘The Alexander Technique’. Meanwhile, Daniel is currently in the middle of his ‘Son Of Spergy’ world tour. As both artists step into new chapters in their careers, ‘Indecision’ gives us a sweet taste of the magic these brilliant musicians can conjure up together

August 20, 2026. A little late(school got in the way ), but this memory deserves a place here. 🧡

A night full of music, emotions, laughter, and moments I wish I could freeze in time. There’s something so special about hearing songs you love live and realizing you’re actually there, surrounded by people who feel the same way.
This will always be one of those core memories I’ll come back to whenever I hear these songs again. 🥹🎶

I love you ALEXXXX!!!! @rexorangecounty @lennyemeralds

And for my Bae @izaaakiiii 💋, for buying the ticket for me so we could go to the concert together. I really appreciate you making this happen. I’m so happy we got to experience this together, and I’ll definitely remember this day.
