The healing and decluttering of the human heart is the most painful, yet rewarding piece to our entire narrative on this faith journey called life.

But how we choose to steward our current process will determine what we can receive next as we continue to create the necessary S P A C E to move forward.

If there’s anything I’ve learned within the first seven months of this year, it’s that the process of decluttering is what truly refines you. It comes from a space deep down within, sometimes filled with tears, losses, heartbreak, uncertainty, fears, deep questions, letting go, longings and hurts. But it also becomes the place of the greatest joy, fullness, laughter, lessons, wins, redemption, confidence, risk and fulfillment.

We are all given an opportunity to choose-and it is within those choices, that will shape us, mold us, teach us, humble us, and reveal to us who we truly are, but also who we want to become.

And sometimes that means learning the same lessons again, just in a different season.

Then, before you know it, things get rewritten, new pages are filled with a cast and crew you never imagined, along with a few life-longers who have been there every step of the way.

Then, when you least expect it, clarity comes out of nowhere, sometimes like a tidal wave, and for the first time in a long time, you breathe easy with a reassurance deep within your soul. Why? Because you know that you know that you know that ALL the choices along the way led to the place you’re in today.

But regardless, you had to choose which direction you wanted to go, what you wanted to leave behind, who you wanted to come with you, and keep your eyes focused on the destination ahead.

Wherever you find yourselves today friends, let your heart both heal and feel it all, because when that happens, you may just find that on the other side, it’s actually beating stronger than you ever thought possible and you’re living in the middle of an answered prayer. 🫀
