POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last but certainly not least: the crew that turned this from an expensive radio show into a visual spectacular, the camera team! @syd.brianne and @hannammoore, led by DP/Cam Op @kait.lyn628, with 2nd AC @kayd6ian.

Sydney, I think we’re officially even on camera work for each other’s films now! Your Vikings last month to my giant spider now, it’s your turn next make it good lol. Thank you for coming back after graduation and seamlessly flexing between 1st and 2nd AC without hesitation. You’re amazing!

Hanna, the ultimate clutch all-star! Schedules were wild, but whenever a slot opened up, you showed up just as someone left as if right on cue. “A wizard is never late... she arrives precisely when she means to!” Thanks to you, we were never down a camera position.

Even though she’s not on IG, massive shoutout to Kaylee. As 1st AC and backup Cam Op, she gave us shots that added just a little extra magic, keep an eye out for her masterclass whip pan in WL! She’s was an elite member of this crew.

Quick extra bit to Kaitlyn and Kaydrian again. Kaitlyn for working with me on shaping how we were visually going to present this story, an unmatched Director of Photography. And Kaydrian, dude, you know how much I appreciate ya, top dog as a UNO wildcard. You can run with G&E and the camera team and for that again, thank you!

With both the school cut and director’s cut officially locked, editing through these shots was agonizing at times, having to choose between this rack focus or another or this angle or that. It was like do you wand this amazing stake or this delicious lobster? You took what was in my brain and tossed it on the screen. Y’all are in a league of your own! 🕷️🎥

The backbone of this entire production, the Art team! @samanthasaycheese @elys.tower @knezieizenk @avafilmsstufflol @shaymbrooks

Sam, what a journey it has been! From Day 1 in New Media Tools to building “cabins” together. We’ve proven time and time again that when we need to get something done, we need to be on the same team. I’m so glad we got to do one final production before this Full Sail chapter is over. Thank you for being there and for being a kick ass Production Designer!

Kenzie, words are lost on me for how much you helped me create What Lurks... psych! Strap in! It all started with a simple question: “Would you wanna help me create a giant space spider?” Kenzie, it’s unbelievable what you created. I quite literally have no idea how we would’ve made this movie with anything less than what you gave us. Patricia is beautiful, terrifying, spectacular, and undeniably my dream spider. Thank you for creating a monster and for using enough blood that you’d think we bled out a pig. Thank you, Kenzie!

Rubi! Producer, Art, UPM, Puppeteer, Catering, and whatever other hat you picked up along the way. Thank you for handling it all. Every hat you wore took one off of me, and I am truly grateful. You made sure I never had to worry about things getting done. You rock Rubi!

Ava, I hope you got some more strawberries after that last day of shooting! :) You also brought Patricia to life, and without you and Kenzie teaming up to take this gig on, I would’ve been so lost. Ava, thank you for being absolutely incredible. I can’t wait to see what you get up to next!

Shay, I know you were filling in wherever there was a need, and I hope you were able to enjoy it in those moments. You helped out in some huge ways. Thank you!

What Lurks will have everyone saying, “Treat your art team right.” Even if that costs you Costco hot dogs, strawberries, and a case of energy drinks! Love y’all, art team. Thank you! 🕷️🎨

The What Lurks shout outs continue! This one’s for the amazing trio of the best 1st & 2nd ADs and script supervisor a guy could ask for; @eaheel_ @heatherherrickk @dileiny.nz

Hae, we had no previous experience working together before all this (other than Looking Out For You, but our paths never crossed), and yet you took a chance on me. Coming back after already graduating to take the helm as 1st AD—for that, I thank you! You held down the floor keeping us on time and calculated if we had time for just one more take. I hope you had a fun time as 1st AD of a movie about a giant space spider. Thank you Hae so much.

Heather, you and I actually do have previous work history lol! Who would’ve known filming a silly little ad for my broadcasting class, Frank’s Franks, would’ve spun off into this. From hot dogs to spiders! Thank you for being awesome with replying to all those audition emails, too. I told you before how much of a stressed mess I was, and having that lifted off my shoulders helped so much. You took care of our iconic core three and our shotgun toting camp owner. You are awesome Heather, keep killing it at AD work!

Dileiny, the keeper of all that is continuity, you were on top of it every day! Originally when you said you were only able to do two days I was like “I’ll take what I can get,” but with scheduling shifts and rain, being able to have you for Day 3 was a true blessing. Thank you so much for keeping track of those details we would’ve missed, it honestly saved us so many times when our eyes were elsewhere. Thank you Dileiny for everything.

You three were wonderful to work with and hopefully someday we get to do it again. Until then keep working hard and thank you all once more! 🕷️#KeepPatriciaAlive #WhatLurks

Special shoutout to these amazing people who breathed life into the characters of What Lurks!

@alyssalynn229, @livcruce, @reymyah, and @eugenetorrescomedy you four took these roles and became these characters from day one. You were my first picks, and I’m so lucky you all said yes.

To my core three: What is there to say that I haven’t already told you in person? You took these characters further than I ever imagined. I loved diving into character details with you, seeing how you thought they’d navigate every situation. Even when plans changed, you three kept that “no problem” attitude and rolled with every punch. You even nailed lines that you sometimes got only a few hours before shooting, you completely killed it! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Eugene: I know you originally auditioned for Officer Moore, but I’m so glad you embraced Daniel. I’ll never forget those pre-shot moments where we tapped into Daniel’s mindset before you went out and left it all on camera. Played to perfection.

To our background cast & extras: Never think your role was small. You made this world feel alive and lived in. Thank you for giving your time to bring that vital energy to the film.

Thank you to my incredible cast for making What Lurks come to life!🕷️ #KeepPatriciaAlive #WhatLurks

It truly takes the entire camp. It’s crazy to think these two photos aren’t even the full cast and crew that made this production happen. “What Lurks” never had a straight path to the finish line, but where’s the fun in that? To my entire cast and crew, y’all drove a level of hard work and determination that would have any production in awe. You made this project happen and I’m truly grateful in every sense of the word. Thank you all and…Long Live Patricia! 🕷️

(Side note IG capped me on tags so if you are not tagged more pics will come stay tuned and know I couldn’t have done it without you too 💜)
