***** habe fest 2026 : day 7 *****

mengingat kembali hari ketujuh.

$As the curtains fall on @ring.of.our.time at the 2025 @hollandfestival , my heart is full. This wasn’t just a performance. It was a movement. A deeply personal, confrontational call to action. Being part of this masterpiece by @worldoperalab has been nothing short of transformative. To every artist, musician, dancer, singer, designer, and technician who poured their soul into this production — thank you. Your artistry, your courage, and your voice brought truth to the stage and stirred something powerful in the hearts of our audiences. This production forced us to reckon with how we treat the water — our water. The choices we make as individuals, the policies enforced by organizations, and the silences we allow to linger — they all have consequences. We explored how the thirst for personal gain has disrupted culture, fractured communities, and stolen livelihoods. How secrecy and withheld truths have created long-lasting economic wounds in regions that depend on transparency, justice, and care. These stories need to be told. These systems need to be questioned. These damages must come to an end. In the midst of all this, I want to shine a light on and commend the countless NGOs and grassroots organizations around the world who are doing the real, often unseen work protecting our waters, empowering communities, holding corporations accountable, and preserving the dignity of those whose lives are tied to rivers, lakes, and coastlines. Your efforts matter. Your work saves lives. And this performance stands in solidarity with yours. Ring of Our Time is more than art. It is a wake-up call. A cry from the rivers. A resistance. A reckoning. And I’m beyond grateful to have been a vessel for this message. Thank you, @worldoperalab , and thank you to the visionaries behind this work. I carry this experience with me — not as a role I played, but as a truth I now live. With love, urgency, and a renewed sense of purpose, Joan Eno Otitoyomi❤️❤️❤️$
