My debut EP Uykudan Uyan (Awaken from Sleep) is out now — at midnight 🕊️ I don’t think I can fully put into words what it means to finally share this project with you. It has lived with me for such a long time, through so many questions, changes, doubts, dreams, and moments of becoming. It carries a very intimate part of me, and letting it leave my hands and become yours feels both incredibly beautiful and a little vulnerable. I am truly, truly grateful to everyone who has been part of bringing this project to life. To every person who contributed their time, energy, creativity, trust and heart, thank you 🤍 I am so, so happy that I can finally share this with you. And there is still so much more to come. I have many stories, thoughts, news and little pieces of this journey that I can’t wait to share with you soon. For now, I simply hope you listen with an open heart. Maybe you’ll find a little piece of yourself somewhere inside it. Uykudan Uyan is yours now. 🌱🪽 And next Friday (OCT 16th) the EP Short Film will premiere with a special screening at @atemporal_projects in Berlin 🧿 Digital YouTube Premiere is at OCT 16th at 11PM (CET) #shortfilm #musicvideo #debutrelease #turkishmusic #diaspora Videography @makayabundo x @ffwc_ Creative Direction @nevaruveyda photography by @meeeelaaaniee @sej.a___ Vocals @nevaruveyda Guitar @dshikoh Mixing @antonio.pulli Mastering @zinomikoreymastering

🙏🏾 🎻🎤🪕 Kapitel 3 in Würzburg was buzzing at the end of July! 🎶 Our music, rooted in a whole range of dance and folk traditions, met the beautiful Arabic classics of Sham. The venue was packed to the last seat. Thank you to everyone who came out and shared the evening with us! A huge thank you to @daskapiteldrei for the space, to the Arabic community and our own community for coming together and of course to Sham for this special musical exchange! 🙏🏾 Shukran 🎶🎸🌱

STREAM UYAN SUNAM OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO ON YOUTUBE! Link in Bio 🧿 While working on my upcoming EP „Uykudan Uyan“, I thought I was telling my own story. But somewhere along the way, I realized that my story is woven from many stories that came before me. Perhaps stories are not meant to stay untouched. Perhaps we carry them, we transform them, and we return them to the world a little more ours than before. That is how Uyan Sunam was born. A song that feels almost too heavy to hold. I hope you feel something of what I felt when I made it. Thank you to everyone involved in the making process! UYAN SUNAM OUT NOW! ✨ YOUTUBE MUSIC VIDEO PREMIERE AUGUST 31, 10PM (CET) We are all made of stories. Some are ours. Some belong to our grandparents, to our ancestors, to people whose names we may never know. And somehow, their stories find their way into ours. While working on my upcoming EP „Uykudan Uyan“, I thought I was telling my own story. But somewhere along the way, I realized that my story is woven from many stories that came before me. Maybe this is part of who I am: to take a story I have inherited, to hold it in my own hands, to let it change shape, and to tell it again, in a voice that is mine. That is how Uyan Sunam was born. A traditional Turkish song that has always carried such a deep ache within it. A song that feels almost too heavy to hold. Perhaps stories are not meant to stay untouched. Perhaps we carry them, we transform them, and we return them to the world a little more ours than before. This is my way of telling this story. Uyan Sunam OUT NOW! Link in Bio! Hands tell stories. And I have decided to tell mine. This is project where I allow myself to be seen, not only as an artist, but as a woman, a daughter of a culture, a keeper of traditions, a person shaped by migration, memory, contradictions and all the places I have called home. A story of feeling in between. Of carrying more than one world within you. Of sometimes wondering where you belong, and eventually realizing that you are allowed to belong to every part of your story. Because while so many of us are losing pieces of ourselves trying to find our place in this world, I want to create a place where we can come back to ourselves. A room that feels like home. Not because we share the same nationality, the same culture, the same language or the same story, but because we recognize something human in one another. This is the story of a woman who wants to build that room. A room for every identity. Every tradition. Every contradiction. Every in-between. And this is only the beginning. This is my little teaser for “ Uyan Sunam”: my reimagining of a traditional Turkish song, and the first glimpse into a much bigger story. “Uyan Sunam” is part of my upcoming EP “ Uykudan Uyan”, a project deeply rooted in identity, tradition, vulnerability and the beautiful, sometimes complicated feeling of carrying your home within you. 🕊️ „Uyan Sunam“ Release - 28 August 2026! Pre-Save via the link in my Bio! Maybe this song will remind you of something you thought you had lost. Maybe it will bring you closer to a part of yourself. Maybe it will simply give you a room to feel. Whatever it becomes for you, I hope you find a little home here. ———————————————— video production & art direction by @makayabundo (@ffwc_ ) creative direction & Styling by @nevaruveyda mixing by @antonio.pulli mastering by @zinomikoreymastering Kemancheh by @rezvanora Qanun by @nekakiya_shingo Ney by @amer.chamaa Nafraz & Drone by @kechou_sound Saz by @bariserdinc62 vocals by @nevaruveyda composition by @nevaruveyda Poetry by @nevaruveyda funded by @musicboardberlin 🤍 #turkishsinger #folkmusic #traditionalsong #poetry #gurbet
