Celebrating the people, businesses & moments shaping Black culture since 2019.

What an honor to be able to experience Jamaica on behalf of @thejamaicatouristboard during Republic Weekend & National Heroes Day (10/19)! The seven heroes are recognized for their contributions to the island’s freedom, independence, workers’ rights and national development. Each story helps to explain how Jamaica became the country it is today.

Happy National Heroes Day, sweet Jamaica! 🇯🇲

Bridal fashion, but make it Jovani! 🤍💍✨

Loved being part of the action as a model for @jovanifashions, showcasing styles for brides, mothers of the bride and every celebration in between.

Which trend would you say “I do” to?

Thank you so much @culturecon for this years invite!

As a black woman in media, it’s so easy to get caught up seeking the external validation that you lose yourself and your vision. The theme for this year truly disrupted that frame of mindset. Being at the largest creative homecoming, you remember we ARE the blueprint, normally we’re just waiting for everyone else to catch up & rebrand the movement.

If you’ve never been before please understand that it is play AND hard work. You have to be honest about your intentions. The connections I made reminded me why I’ve always had a love for media and what it means to me behind fresh new ideas!

I’ll see yall in year 2 with my boots on the ground

Everything belongs in the Museum of Us… but what gets the main exhibit? 👀🏛️

Day two of CultureCon was all about where sports meet Black culture! From Colin Kaepernick taking a knee to Venus & Serena Williams to Air Jordan, I asked attendees to rank some iconic names and moments by their cultural impact.

Sounds easy until you have to put something last 😂 Who got it right, and what would you rank differently? 👇🏾

Culure Con 2026 had me feeling melanated and educated! It was my first time back since 2018 & I’m so grateful for the @culturecon team for inviting me to attend as a NextGen Artist. I was more concerned about presence this year vs documenting & I ended up seeing so many new and familiar faces. I’m grateful to have made genuine connections across which I think it’s all about.
