WUN 2025 Film of the Year — Finalist

Still can’t believe this happened. I shared this on my stories a couple of weeks ago when the nominations came out, but this deserved a place on its own.

My film for Rachel and Wilbert’s wedding at Casa dos Penedos made it into the top 3 films of the year at the 2025 WUN Awards. Sharing this nomination with Sam from @grandamor.studio and Remi from @marufilms makes it even more special. Well done, guys — beers are on me when we finally get to hang out together!

I was finishing my first year filming weddings (part-time) when I came across Remi’s work, and his films changed everything for me. Remi, I don’t know if I’ve ever told you this, but you opened my eyes in a way I can’t fully put into words. So sharing this with you, 10 years after it all started, means more than anything to me. Truly happy to have ‘lost’ to someone like you.

Thank you so much @wayupnorth (and the jury) for the nomination. I can’t think of a better boost to kick off this new season.

As you’d imagine, finding the right videographer for our wedding was going to be a challenge for us. Someone who could capture us as we are. We are so lucky we came across @joaorosavisuals and couldn’t have asked for anyone more talented than him to film our special day. Joao captured our story wonderfully and we’re eternally grateful he shared his art with us.

SINTRA, PORTUGAL w/ Wilbert & Rachel.

Having opportunities to travel & photograph people and sights I don’t see everyday is an immense blessing, but getting to do it with your loved ones makes it even more special.

Wilbert & Rachel said their vows in Sintra, Portugal: a magical place that is dear to me, my friends, locals and travelers alike. In between travesseiros and café, ginja and bacalau, and prepping for their welcome party, we took some moments to enjoy the scenery at @casaholstein and make memories together with us and other friends.
