Don’t mind me posting almost a month after the show is done lol

RDP has been such a huge part of my life for these part 5 seasons. We talk about our growth all the time, but I feel honoured to have created this space and seen dancers grow from show to show. Thank you to everyone who has worked with us, even if just for a short time at a drop in. HUGE thank you to everyone in this year’s summer program, for trusting me with this massive ballet number (34 people!), hearing me out on my crazy ideas and working hard to learn all the choreo for the show. Special shout out to my small group for vibing with me at the end of the day #pinksquirrelbar. If you weren’t at the show, go watch the videos on YouTube - promise it’s a great time!!

I’m still sad that I wasn’t able to be in the show this year because of my chronic pain and hip issues, but I’m grateful that I got to take photos and see all the hard work that these dancers put into every number 💕 same time next year? 💃🏻

✨ introducing our second Guest Performance tomorrow night: Rhapsody Dance Project! #OSSDF2026

Rhapsody Dance Project (RDP) is a Kitchener-Waterloo based dance collective creating accessible, inclusive spaces for adult and recreational dancers to keep training, performing, and connecting beyond studio life. Since 2022, we’ve been building a community where creativity, collaboration, and passion for dance can thrive — without the pressure of pursuing it professionally. Through affordable classes, performances, and local artist collaborations, we’re helping keep the arts alive in Waterloo Region.

Stop by the RDP vendor booth tomorrow to find out how you can get involved!

We are over-the-moon to host @froginhand as Femme Folks Fest 2026 Artists in Residence!

They've been creating daily in @interartsmatrixwr Studio 38 at @globe_studios. Tonight - March 11 - they will share a sneak peak of what they've been creating + honour us with a performance of TARANTA. A celebration of women and their labours. It all happens at Studio Theatre, @centre_square 7:30pm. Link in bio for tickets.

During the performance, @froginhand artistic director Colleen Snell will share moments of their artistic process, their work in regional community and real-world insights on the contemporary dancers life today. It's a DO NOT MISS opportunity for any young aspiring dancer or dance lover.

Student of dance? We would love to have you with us with no barrier to access. DM us and we'll hold a complimentary seat for you. It's all in honour of these very special visiting artists and our ❤️ of Contemporary Canadian dance and dance artists.

We have a short but very cool performance this Saturday at The Registry! Our friends from @rhapsodydanceproject will be performing a dance to our song "Don't You" as we play it live!
🖤
Other dancers from Rhapsody will be performing to the music of many other local musicians. It's an amazing collaboration, so please come support some of the region's best performers!
🖤
Tickets available from @rhapsodydanceproject
