It’s amazing what can happen with a little know-how and the right materials. This kitchen came together piece by piece — a true maker’s project, powered by @HomeDepot and a lot of heart. 🧡 @rheaplease is slowly becoming the builder I know she can be.

This one was for future of @liyakimberly It’s not everyday you meet someone you actually believe in, so when that person comes along you push them and that vision as far as you can! And to think we all met just 10 months ago.

This team has literally become family! And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I used to build things from scratch step-by-step, one layer 🍰 at a time. Somehow that part never changed.
⁣
But somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t making the type of things I was called to create.
⁣
The shift wasn’t easy. It still isn’t. But choosing to trust myself, even when it didn’t make sense on paper (or the bank) has led me somewhere beautiful.
⁣
Here’s to career pivots, slow courage, and finally living in alignment. 📸✨

Unconditional love taught me that I’m capable of showing up even when it’s hard. That I can lead with compassion, even when I’m hurting. It taught me grace for myself and for the person I love. That marriage isn’t a fairytale, and I don’t need to be perfect to be present. It taught me that forgiveness is a gift I can give myself, too.

Date night at the @sohohouse . Last night we stepped out to attend a panel discussion lead by @nzslausiv about “the importance of making meaningful films” Oh and we got drinks of course at @set_les 😉
