🏉 FINAL MATCH - FINISH STRONG 🏉

Saturday 3/21
⏰ 1pm Kickoff
📍 Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park
14201 Huston St,
Sherman Oaks, CA 91423

The final chapter of our 2026 15's season. 📖

Let's be real - 1 win in our return to Division 1. Not what we wanted. But here's what the record doesn't show:
✅ Major roster turnovers - we adapted
✅ Injuries piling up - we fought through
✅ Scheduling conflicts - we found solutions
✅ Life getting in the way - we kept showing up

A rolling crew of talent all season long. Different faces. Same Chiefs pride. Same commitment to the jersey. 🏉

"How you finish that determines how you are remembered."

This weekend, we head to Sherman Oaks with a limited crew - but with our heads held HIGH! We represent the past. We represent the future. We represent what it means to be an Oceanside Chief! 💪

Despite every challenge...
WE LEARNED TO BE TOUGH. 🔥
Next year we take the next step.

This foundation we've built through adversity? That's what championships are made of! ⚡

Let's finish this season the Chiefs way - fighting until the final whistle! 💯

THE PRIDE GETS STRONGER.

Mountain Lions Youth Rugby is fired up to welcome Assistant Scrummy Coach Rheno Taito’a to the sidelines this spring.

From stepping into rugby at 16 and competing against adults, to now playing Division 1 with the Oceanside Chiefs, Coach Rheno brings the energy, knowledge, and passion to help push our players to the next level.

A true utility back who understands the game everywhere on the field — and now he’s here to help develop the next generation of Mountain Lions.

U16 Boys. U15 & U18 Girls.
The work continues. The pride grows.

Welcome to the pride, Coach.

This is what the growth of the game looks like.

This is Reno.
21 years old.
Coming through the ranks at Oceanside Rugby.

Built by time, people, and showing up week after week.
Another example of great club culture here in SoCal
gentlemen off the pitch, aggressive on it.
