What an incredible way to end Payton’s 2026 dance season. She overcame every obstacle and hurdle to make this season possible and ended with the honor of “Most Inspiring” dancer. What she accomplished was truly miraculous but she couldn’t have done it without her @officialsouthcountydance family’s support, love and prayers. The way the teachers poured into and supported her recovery, the way her friends lifted her spirits and kept her going, and the way the staff and my dance Mom friends stayed by our side is something I will never forget. We always say “it takes a village” . . . and we are so lucky to have such an incredible one 💜.

We thought this season with @officialsouthcountydance was going to be a “wash” and that we would rejoin the team when Payton had fully recovered. But by the grace of God and Payton’s incredible will and strength she not only returned to her home on the stage, but she had one of the best seasons she has ever had! A true living miracle in the from of a 13 year old who loves to dance. I’m so proud of her and her ability to push through the hard, honor her body without giving up on her self, and filling her heart with joy and gratitude so she could embrace every beautiful moment along the way. Love you sweet girl 💜

It’s taken me awhile to attempt to find the words to explain the depth of gratitude that we feel towards our entire community for rallying around our family during these last few weeks. God is so real and so good. Through the darkest times we were surrounded by so much light in the form of prayers, calls, messages, flowers, meals and love. We were able to stay strong for Payton knowing that so many other aspects were taken care of. Your prayers were heard and felt and I know that heaven was ROARING with how faithfully you prayed on behalf of our girl. Everyone’s generosity has been overwhelming. . . we felt the love then and we continue to feel it now as we recover at home. PRAISE THE LORD Payton is home and on the road to recovery. We know she has a long road ahead of her but we know our girl is strong in faith, spirit and heart and she will come out of this stronger than ever. We love you all ❤️‍🩹🙏🏼

@_payton_herr is officially a teenager! Payton, I can’t believe you’re 13, and yet in some ways I feel like you’ve been 13 for a while now. Even though I will miss you being little and remembering your tiny little voice and sweet spirit, I am loving the YOU that you are today! You are sweet, kind, strong, smart, resilient and oh so fun to be around. I LOVE being your Mom and I feel so blessed to be able to stand next to you through all of life’s ups and downs. I’ll forever be your biggest cheerleader P! Welcome to this next stage of life! Enjoy the ride because it goes by way too quick! I love you to the moon and back my darling girl 💕

First Day of 7th for @_payton_herr and 5th grade for Madi! I’m always sad to see the summer end but I’m so excited to see what this next school year brings these two 💕

This year flew by so fast! ✌🏼out 4th, 6th, and 8th grade! I’m surprised I even remembered to take a last day of school picture this year because it’s been that nuts! And if it wasn’t for his school taking pictures, Logan wouldn’t even be in this 🤣.

3 years of living with a diagnosis we did not see coming . . . 3 years of highs and lows, pokes and sticks, sleepless nights and ever changing days, but more than any of that 3 years of incredible growth, grace and strength. We’ve come to far P and I feel so blessed to be your Momma. You make me proud every single day in how you conduct yourself in the face of adversity. This forever “baby” of ours turned 10! Just like that she turned double digits and the world better look out! Madison Nicole, our perfect little combo of sweet and spicy, cautious and bold, extroverted and yet shies away from attention. And although you live in between these dichotomies there is one trait that holds strong and it’s your ability to love your family and friends with your whole heart. You’re a deep feeler and even though you keep us on our toes (and boy do you) we wouldn’t have it any other way. You’ve grown so much this last year and have adjusted to so many new things, so I know that this next decade is going to bring even more changes. So live it up, continue to grow and thrive, but if you could let me “baby” you a little longer that would be great 💁🏻‍♀️. Love you to the moon and back sweet girl 💞.
