Today we are showcasing

Alice from @little_earth_crafts - At Little Earth Crafts, I make tiny felt creatures full of personality! Each is handmade with love, featuring hidden magnets for mix-and-match outfits and accessories. Little friends, endless charm!

Gemma from @paper_pawtraits - Pet pawtraits and stationery and gifts all hand made and totally original designs

Ruth from @Potteru.stoneware - I am a local potter crafting small batches of functional ceramic ware designed for everyday use. Each piece, shaped with care on a wheel, aims to enhance daily rituals like morning coffee or shared meals. The unique variations in shape and finish give each item character. My focus on quality throughout the process, combined with inspiration from natural textures and calming tones, results in timeless, tactile pieces meant to be enjoyed daily. My work is handmade, functional, and designed to foster connection in meaningful moments.

Heather from @Oimillielampwork- I sell glass beads, they are used in many ways including rings, necklaces, bracelets and also items for the home such as cutlery items. My lampwork beads are made by me in my studio in Walsall In the West Midlands. Each bead is unique and has been annealed for strength and durability in my kiln.

Handful of pieces I got finished in the studio today (oooh it don't half feel fabulous saying that! 😅🤣😂) and I finally got my glass cabinet outside my studio at Red House Glass Cone filled full of darkly delicious pieces 😋 so even when we're not in the studio you can still have a mooch at some of our pieces

These new pieces will be with me this weekend at Hull Horrorfest and Stockport Alternative Market

⚠️ HISTORY WAS A DANGEROUS BUSINESS.

And we’re about to prove it.

This Thursday, Dangerous Makes: History’s Most Hazardous Trades and Inventions launches with not one, but TWO episodes.

🔥 Episode 1: Pain in the Glass

We’re at @rhgcmuseum with the wonderful @kateround , exploring the history of glassmaking. Beautiful craftsmanship, blistering heat and a workplace health and safety officer’s worst nightmare.

🏰 Episode 2: Castles and Corpses

We’re at @warwickcastleofficial with the great @mattlewishistory , exploring the darker side of castle building. Because medieval castles weren’t all banquets and handsome knights.

Two locations. Two episodes. Plenty of history. Questionable life expectancy.

🎧 Both episodes land Thursday 22 October, wherever you get your podcasts.
