This job is a lot, folks. I tell people it’s aged me decades. It has — But I am so thankful for our athletes and staff who make work fun, who feel like family, and the game that brings all of us so much joy. Thankful for an ownership group that trusts us to make decisions and lead as we know how to. Thankful to the fans who have trusted us to make Orlando a club people want to be at and support. Thankful for a supportive circle that pushes me and keeps me grounded. This year has been one for the books!!

That said, I set a priority to start taking more time for myself and to ensure I have outlets for decompressing. The result, three 15K+ trail races in January and February. Getting started again has been fun, scheduling around preseason will be equally fun. I’m not as fast as I once was, but I’ll get there again, and it’s okay if I don’t. Running trails without a rifle, boots, and a rucksack isn’t so bad! I hope everyone can make time this year to take care of themselves! #selfcare #newyear #thisis40
