We were delighted, earlier today, to officially open the ‘Lifted by Birds’ garden at @jameshopkinstrust in #Gloucester…

Delivered by @greenfingerscharity and designed by Amie Wheeldon (@budandbird_gardens), Jon Pilling (@theintrinsiclink) and Thomas Cave Saunders (@skylarkgd), this beautiful new therapeutic garden brings the sights and sounds of nature into the lives of children and families at the Trust.

Originally created as a show garden for @rhsmalvern Spring Festival back in May, ‘Lifted by Birds’ has now been thoughtfully recreated as a permanent outdoor space — bringing its story to life as a lasting, restorative landscape.

Inspired by the movement, rhythm and quiet beauty of British birdlife, the garden combines naturalistic planting, wildlife habitats and sensory elements to create a space for exploration, relaxation and connection with nature.

Huge congratulations to everyone involved — it was so wonderful to celebrate this very special new garden with you all today!
