Last-minute decision to race crankworx payed off. Managed to get 2nd in U21 for the Canadian Open Enduro. An immaculate course and some challenging conditions in the rain made for a great day on the bike. Big thanks to @artscyclery for getting my bike running last minute. Luckily no wheel casualties this time.

A solid day for @thecyclingco athletes @crankworx Whistler Canadian Open Enduro, with four of our athletes bringing home some hardware.

🥇 @elly.hoskin Pro Women
🥇 @rhysblairmtb U21 Men
🥉 @nolanweiss45 U21 Men
🥈 @katie.fleck Open Women

@_bradleywright_ and @benjamieson22 made it through the day to finish strong in Pro men and U17 men, respectively.

Unfortunately, junior national champ @keely.bathurst decided it wasn’t her day after stage 1 and made the smart call to pull the plug.

Congratulations to our whole crew for giving everything they had out there and big thanks to @crankworx @whistlerbikeprk and everyone involved for an awesome day on what was perhaps the best Whistler Enduro Course EVER!!!

Means so much to me to have dh racing on my home tracks after over a decade. Getting the fastest time was a cherry on top! Prevost is such a special place to myself and many others. I want to thank Vance from @ride_mtb_ride_outlaw for having this dream and making it happen. I look forward to more local races like this in the future and encourage everybody to sign up for the next one in the spring. The event crew did a great job with the race and it went very smoothly. Nothin like a mudder. And thanks to Teanna for the aprés hotdogs

We caught up with Knolly athlete Rhys Blair (@rhysblairmtb) for a World Cup race update & bike check. With two recent World Cup podiums, Rhys Blair shared the story behind his race-ready Chilcotin 170 build —from his stunning Kelly Green fade frame to his custom parts and full bike spec.

“What a wild first half of the season—big goals, great results, and plenty of time doing what I love most: racing bikes and exploring new trails. The biggest highlight so far has without a doubt been heading to Europe for my first two UCI Enduro World Cups. It was an amazing opportunity and something I’ve worked towards for a long time. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I gave it everything and ended up with 3rd place at Val di Fassa and 3rd again in La Thuile.
Standing on a World Cup podium—twice—was really pretty surreal and a dream come true. The Chilcotin 170 is an incredible race bike—stable at high speeds, corners like it’s on rails, and an absolute joy to ride. I love it!“ -Rhys
