Friday night was a massive success for @bigdoorgallery felt like the whole town pulled up tbh! Great art and a worthy cause really brought out the community for a nice night of solidarity.

Did you miss me? Shit got dark for a minute for me on the gram, I had to delete the app I haven’t posted on here in over half a year yet my screen time was worse than ever. I don’t wanna hang out for long but I have some super special announcements for this month that I need to get out:

Did my first modeling gig in a minute for @little_yarmouth . I made my first line of t-shirts for @hanahou510 that just dropped! Got my art in two @bigdoorgallery art shows! New music coming out soon, going to do a live event with my group @chosenfam510 for the first time! I am over four months sober from alcohol, very much in love with my partner, and Noelani got into the kindergarten program I was praying for. Mashallah.

If you see this and you haven’t said what’s up in a while shoot me a text or pull up to an event, I’m sure there’s a good hug waiting for you. I’m sorry if I haven’t hit you up life got real and I have a bad habit of turning into a hermit. It’s all love unless it ain’t so stay up from round me if you fake!

We’re excited to announce the first merch drop for Big Door Gallery at the Sanctuary show tomorrow, 5/31 from 5:00-8:00.

The “Si Encuentra Ice” long sleeve features graphics on what do you if you encounter an ice agent along with Chicano inspired script on the sleeves. The shirt concept is the first print design by @hanahou510 , the back graphic was created by @habibithing and printed by @revoltsilkscreen

Shirts are available for presale at a sliding scale rate starting at $45. 30% of proceeds will be donated across the featured Immigrant rights CBOs in including Oakland based @oea_rapidresponse @larazacentrolegalsf from the Mission and our closest neighborhood East Oakland organization @centro_legaldelaraza based in Fruitvale.

Centro de la Raza is a nonprofit legal aid organization dedicated to serving low-income, immigrant, and BIPOC communities since 1969
