It's been two weeks since Never Say Never! Regular posting will resume soon, but I had to share just a few of the amazing photos we received from @janadavisphoto, @jessefoxart and @brittanyeastphotography. I hope you all had a great time at the fest - who did you love this year and who do you want to see next year? 👀❤️

Sponsor Spotlight! 💫Huge thank you to our incredible 2026 Americana GlobaLou Summer Festival sponsors! 🌍

Events like GlobaLou wouldn't be possible without the generous support of local businesses and organizations who care deeply about our mission and the community we serve. We are grateful for your partnership in celebrating culture and togetherness!

An Open Letter of Gratitude to Our Global Lou Vendors, Partners, & Friends:

When we set out to host this year’s Global Lou Festival, after our hiatus last year, we envisioned a day filled with sunshine, international flavors, vibrant music, and crowded pathways celebrating the rich cultural tapestry of Louisville. Mother Nature, however, had a slightly different forecast in mind! ☔

Despite the heavy rain and grey skies that forced an early end to much of our event, what stayed radiant was YOU. Your warmth, determination, and unyielding spirit turned a stormy day into a powerful testament to what makes the Americana community so special.

We want to extend a massive THANK YOU to:

🚚 Our Food Vendors & Culinary Artists: You unpacked your goods, fired up your stoves, and held down tents with giant smiles.
🎨 Our Artisans & Small Businesses: You brought beauty and culture to our campus, proving your dedication to your craft and community.
🤝 Our Nonprofit & Community Partners: You showed up ready to connect, inform, and serve, rain or shine.
💃 Our Performers & Volunteers: From dancing in rain ponchos to hauling gear through the mud, your energy kept everyone’s spirits high!
☂️ Our Attendees & Neighbors: To everyone who threw on a raincoat and came out to support local international creators—thank you for standing with us.

💙 A Special Request to Our Followers: Many of our vendors spent days preparing fresh food and handmade products for Global Lou. We ask our community to show them extra love this week! Drop your favorite vendor handles in the comments, visit their storefronts, and order from them online.

While the weather shortened our time together, it only deepened our gratitude. Americana was built on welcoming diverse cultures, overcoming challenges together, and lifting each other up. No rainstorm can wash away the strength of our community.

With heartfelt gratitude,
The Americana Community Center Team 💛
