Another amazing moment from The People’s Runway was creating this look for designer Lamin Tey Jaiyeh.

The stylist requested oversized finger waves that would sit underneath the cap but still peek out. So I took this beautiful head of thick, super-curly hair and carefully laid it into the waves she envisioned.

The model was definitely feeling herself! She told me this was a look she had wanted to try for a long time. It felt great to create something that both the designer and the model truly loved.

I had such a great experience working on this show, and I’m already looking forward to coming back next year.
