What a great class today by @ric.b from @leoajiujitsu It always great seeing an old friend. Really awesome to see how technical her jiu jitsu has become and what an awesome instructor she is. Thanks to everyone for coming out and great to see the old school 127 students showing up.

June 2026 began with disappointment but became a catalyst for fully engaging in life: investment in friendships, a dabbling in sports, good food, good wine, and a considerable number of steps outside of my comfort zone. All in all, things are looking up.

A very special day for both of us!

Marie has been my longest student since I began teaching, back when I started out of the Pilates studio in 2024.

Her consistency, eagerness to learn, and perseverance is something I have been very proud to witness. She’s also just fun to be around, and I’m so glad she’s my student!

Congratulations Marie on your blue belt :) ❤️

Thank you for capturing @thi_q_lam

One of the most iconic Galentine’s Day group pics there ever was 🩷🩷🩷🩷

Ladies across New York to Boston came through for an awesome class taught by @ysabjj. Truly such a perfect day to support women in the sport.

So happy to bring home some hardware for @gambitsubmissionfighting !!🥋🙏❤️🥉

I love my team and am incredibly grateful to all of my coaches, training partners, and friends. What a fun year it’s been.

From losing in the first round last year, to winning some state tournaments this year, placing at Nationals, and now getting on the podium at Worlds! I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I feel very lucky to have the surplus time and energy, and an able body, to get out here and participate in such wonderful experiences.

And to do it in the @goldbjj kit they donated on behalf of my daughter is one of the sweetest things… I honestly can’t even express what that means to me. ❤️

Huge thanks to the IBJJF and to all the competitors in my bracket. And to my sweet love Carrie for supporting all the madness that goes into this😂🫶😍🥰

Finishing my camp in my childhood home back on Oahu with @thefowlereffect @nsjjclub & @dbachfitness was an extra sweet cherry on top 🤙🙏

I’ve got some holes in my game that need fixing, so it’s back to the lab with clearer eyes and a full heart.
Thanks to everyone who’s followed along on the journey.

And congrats to @soapy_bjj on his bronze out there, representing the CHAMP #TeamAudra 👼

Peace, love, respect, mahalo and namaste 🤙

I’m really grateful to have an able body and the time and energy to do something I love so much.
Respect and gratitude to everyone in my bracket. Thank you to my wife for supporting all the late nights of training, and to my home girl @ric.b for being the best tournament buddy ever 😍🙏
What a gift it is to be able to train, compete, and be part of such a beautiful community.

Next stop: No-Gi Worlds in Vegas.
