Five years ago, the Rice Architecture Summer Immersion program was established. We are grateful to our main donor, all the supporters and contributors, and the exceptional participants, who have all helped to shape and grow the project! It’s rewarding to see how this pedagogical initiative has inspired the path of so many future designers and thinkers.

Week 1 passed and I think it was amazing. The first 2 days we did introductions and orientations. Then I met my mentors and got a tour of the lab and started reading papers (still reading). We talked about my goals for the program and I even participated at their weekly meeting. I'm very excited for what's next!!
