"For the Love of the game"

We don't put on Sunday AM Basement Runs in the 717 ~ For another court to try & "prove what type of hooper" you are... Or to prove to the world what you couldn't accomplish in HS, college, & beyond 💯

The basketball hardwood... has ALWAYS taught a valuable lesson in life in my opinion:
HOW to deal with true adversity! How do we respond when we're up against a real wall!? How mature, & poise can we be... when we're down... & when everyone is talking what you DON'T wanna hear!?

This is when I feel the TRUE character of a man or woman will get exposed 🙏🏽💪🏽 Showing not only what characteristics we need to change in our walk ~ but HOW MUCH we NEED a real relationship w/ Jesus to convict us of who we are... & what our true purpose is in this world 🌎 ✨️ 💙

Built the vision. Brought the team. Created the moment.

Rich Customs isn’t just about shoes—it’s about the lifestyle behind them.

This is only the beginning. 🏆✨

1st quarter in the books my guy! 🎉🫶🏽🙏🏽

"No amount of books or studying can compare to ones journey through life's experiences...."
Sure, as a parent it makes me very happy & excited watching you strike a kid out at bat, hit threes in clutch moments, lock down the teams best player, or create a sick shoe design that reminds me you've carried my gift! ;)
But those things don't take the cake one bit for me... compared to WATCHING you grow into EXACTLY what God is calling you to be as a man...! Day to day, week to week, month to month!! 🔥😌💯
This even includes your setbacks! Your failures! & your "ah hah" moments son ;)

I've learned that at some point in ones early lifetime, God will SHOW US exactly what it is that we're called to be!!! 😌 Some glimpse, a dream, a passion.
BUT - He'd never, ever, ever expose to us... the journey it will take to achieve this! Why not??
Simple... Because we wouldn't do it! 💯
The pain, the heartache, the tears, the sweat, the losses, the fights, & hurdles - would simply be too much for us to bare.
What we DO NOT realize - is that ALL of these things, are 1000% NEEDING to take place, for our character & professional makeup 💥💯💯💯
-Wisdom
-Patience
-Humility
-Strength
-Foregiveness
But most of all son..... Our FAITH in Him 🎯🙏🏽
And crazy thing is He loves us so much! He will CONTINUE to allow us to FALL - until we get it right! 😌

Happy 25th Birthday Richie Rosas, Jr @richball24 @richhcustoms
May God continue to MOVE & work in your life - until you've succeeded! 💪🏽

Love,
Your Ol head 🫶🏽
