Lots of 1sts were caught. Thank you @richjep for making the run happen and getting @ibsurf_fishing42 and me on our first reds, speckled trout, sand trout, lady fish and flounder! The 1/8 @hookupbaits in green pumpkin, brown silver and chovy were the hot colors all day. This trip made me want to consider moving here. #HOOKUPBAITS #blenderseyewear ##shimanofishing s

2019 Cash and I entered our first @saltwaterbassseries20 It was a spotty only SD Bay event. Chad @hookupbaits had encouraged us to try so we rented a @slaydaysocal and sent it. We did everything wrong lol. We hit the back bay and ran through like 100+ dinks. It was my first shotgun start as the captain of the vessel. There were so many amazing memories made at that tournament along with lifelong friends that we still keep in touch with to this day. The first photo is a picture of all of us at the end of the tournament. We fished every event in the series that year on a rental boat until I bought the @ssbaybasher for the final event. We didn’t qualify for the championships, but we showed up, volunteered, and took out the trash. We vowed to fish the series and qualify to the championship the next year. I haven’t missed a single saltwater bass series tournament or championship since! The next photo is the last saltwater bass series tournament we did. Six years later in the same crappy skiff, at the same venue, we pulled off a Masters Championship Win against a field of my fishing idols, who are now my friends. We have received nothing but positive encouragement along the way from our family,Hookup Baits, and all the anglers in our community. Forever grateful to the people of the water that tread with us! Happy 9 year anniversary @hookupbaits

#6yearsofhub has flown by. I will never forget the first time I fished @hookupbaits at Shelter Island and caught a spotty. Since then we have become part of a rad family of anglers and had some great opportunities. Last year we finished the @saltwaterbassseries20 as Rookie AOY. We owe so much to the HUB family. Thank you for such an awesome ride. Here is to the next 6 years!!! And thank you so much Chad JoJo and everybody else at the Hook Up baits family for being such amazing people @hookupbaits @jojo_hookupbaits .
