JAMAICAN CHAPTER WITH PAKKIA CREW | The Matador.

A new format begins. Together with Pakkia Crew, one of Italy’s longest-running Reggae collectives, founded in Rome in 2007 and known for spreading Jamaican music through shows, dubplates, and remixes, we explore the stories behind Jamaica’s musical legacy.

Episode 1 focuses on “The Matador”, the life of Lloyd “The Matador” Daley, a pioneer who built amplifiers, engineered Sound Systems, and helped define Ska, Rocksteady, and Reggae.

Stories of sound, struggle, and creation; straight from the source.

Episodio 23 de esta SEGUNDA TEMPORADA.

@realisraelvibration

The Matador : Lloyd Daley - Sonic Pioneer Of Jamaican Music.

Reggae IS A MISSION no a COMPETITION.

Who remembers when all the Reggae DJs from WCSB, WRUW and WJCU got together for a benefit for the three stations? AJ Roccos was packed wall to wall and we raised quite a bit of money. That was such a fun time. #wcsb #wruw #wjcu
