Me realizing that I’ll only need to recertify my StrongFirst Elite once more before I qualify for the Women Masters division recert, as I’ll be over 50 years old. 😆

It’s definitely not a knock on aging or being closer to 50 than 40 at this point. It’s more a weird realization of my age because I’m still doing the same stuff I was doing in my late 20s when I first picked up a kettlebell. The difference? I’m a hell of a lot stronger and wiser about my health and training than I was then!

I know many women 50+ who leave everyone guessing at their age because they are strong, resilient and have more energy than women decades younger. They are the women that inspire me every day to stay the course.💪🏽 And, it has nothing to do with most of the products constantly marketed toward women as a quick solution to aging. It has everything to do with intentional training and consistency, pushing past self-limiting beliefs, knowing that there isn’t a cream, pill, powder, filler, etc that is going to compare to lifting weights and following smart strength programs that adapt to changing seasons of life. 🙌🏽

So, I’ll just keep doing my thing, sorta living in a time-warp, bumping EDM on blast while training and driving with the windows down… Especially with my 6yo son, he loves waiting for the beat to drop and we totally jam together!

Happy Friday 💛

@richryanphoto thanks for capturing my goofiness 👌🏽

There's a blessing on the ground, a Rumpus running around and our hearts and minds filled with laughter, warmth and general foolery!
