Talent, hard-work, creativity, and so much laughter take place here, and I'm so grateful to be a part of it all. Leo, thank you so much for believing in my ability to help your vision come true. I hope it was everything you imagined. And to the cast, thank you for being patient with me. I know there were days I was stone-faced and tired, so I thank you tremendously for seeing past that and putting on a spectacular show. This show is so special to me. From the many many laughs, to the inevitable tears at the very end. I hope, as we all stumble along, we find just as much friendship, laughter, and joy - during good times and bad. “But still, in the larger sense….in a broader sense, it’s better to have lived than left, right?” So my last college theatre show is over. Which feels completely crazy to type out, but here we are. It feels simultaneously like it’s been so long and like it’s just whizzed by. I want to say that I accomplished everything I wanted to going into this, but in truth the chaos of past few months left me feeling like I was grasping at straws going into tech week. There was this deep seated gut feeling I wasn’t even remotely prepared to do the whole music directing piano conducting thing. If you had asked me even up until the night of the first run, I would have said I regretted doing this at all. And then this beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime group of people reminded me why I was so insistent on music directing my final show in the first place. Cab, I wish I had found you sooner, but you’ve given me some beautiful memories to go out on. We put on a fucking epic show. I love you guys, don’t be strangers 💜 (pit post incoming) (also, sorry i couldn’t find everyone’s instagram)
