We bought a house 🥹🏡

I actually cannot believe I am typing those words but here we are and I am so beyond excited that I do not even know where to start!

If you know me and Richard you will know this is not our first rodeo when it comes to moving. We have moved quite a bit over the years and we always said we would know when we found the right place 🥺

And we found it 🏡🤍

The home that baby girl is going to grow up in. The walls that are going to hold our little family. The place where we are going to create memories that I cannot wait to look back on one day.

Richard was an absolute legend with our last move when I was deep in the first trimester and basically did everything himself while me, Lexi and baby girl supervised from the couch 😂 I have a feeling this move is going to look very similar!

Two house moves while pregnant is not something I would necessarily recommend and it is absolutely not for the faint hearted 🥴 But comply and utterly worth every single moment of it.

Here is to our next chapter.
Our new home.
Our little family of four.

Baby girl, we cannot wait to bring you home 🎀🏡😭🤍

Something I want to talk about today that does not get discussed enough.

Building a life far from home.

Richard and I are in Australia and all of our family is in Ireland. Our circle here is small. Intentionally, beautifully, perfectly small 🥺

And as we get closer to baby girl arriving I have been thinking a lot about what village means when your village is scattered across the other side of the world.

Because we do not have the grandparents around the corner. We do not have the aunties who can pop over. We do not have the family Sunday dinners and the impromptu visits and all of the things that come with having your people close.

What we have instead is something I would not trade for anything.

We have each other. Completely and without reservation. Richard and I have built our own little world here and the foundation of it is so strong that I genuinely feel held even in the absence of everything we left behind 🤍

We have a small circle of people here who are quality over quantity in every possible sense. People who show up fully when it matters. People who are chosen rather than given and who have chosen us right back 💫

And we have our family in Ireland who love us across every time zone and every mile between us in a way that distance has never diminished.

Our village looks different to what I imagined it would look like when I was growing up.
But it is ours.

And as baby girl arrives into it I genuinely believe she is coming into something so full of love that the geography will never matter.

Your village does not have to look like anyone else’s to be everything you need 🤍💫

Happy Father’s Day to the man who has shown up for us in every single way that matters 🤍

Richard, you have been at every scan. Every single one. From the very first time we saw her flickering on that screen at 5 weeks to the 20 week scan where we both completely fell apart watching her move around like she already owned the place 😭💫

I watch you in those rooms and I see everything you do not say out loud.

I see the way you hold my hand a little tighter before they start.

I see the relief wash over your face the moment we hear her heartbeat and everything is okay.

I see you holding it together for me even though I know you feel every single one of those pre scan nerves just as deeply as I do 🥺

Lexi and baby girl O’Hagan are the luckiest girls in the world to have you as their daddy. And I am the luckiest woman in the world to be doing this with you 🤍

We love you more than words daddy 😭🎀🐶💫

Today is his day and I have been trying to find the words for weeks.

Happy birthday to the man who has been my person through absolutely everything. The love of my life, my safe place, my greatest adventure and in just a few short months the father of our daughter 😭

I have been thinking about what to write and honestly nothing feels big enough. Because how do you put into words what it means to have someone beside you for 14 and a half years through every version of your story?

Through the hope and the heartbreak. Through the waiting and the surrendering. Through the grief of losing our angel baby and the miracle of finding out our little girl was coming. Through every hard season and every beautiful one.

He never once let go.

I think about the man I watched at our 20 week scan, holding my hand & completely silent. And I thought, she has no idea how loved she already is. No idea what kind of father is waiting for her.

Richard is the kind of man who shows up quietly. Who does not need the credit or the recognition. Who just loves deeply and consistently and without condition, in the ordinary moments just as much as the big ones 🤍

He is going to be the most incredible dad! And I know that because of the way he has loved me through everything we have been through to get here. The patience, the strength, the unwavering belief that our family was coming even on the days when believing felt almost impossible.

So today we are heading to Noosa to celebrate him the way he deserves to be celebrated 🤍

The man who made me believe in forever. Who held my hand through the hardest chapters and is standing beside me as we walk into the most beautiful one yet.

Happy birthday, my love 🤍
We love you more than you’ll ever know and appreciate everything you do for our little family. From me, Lexi & your little daughter who’s waiting patiently to meet her daddy 💓🥺
You are everything to us. 🤍
We love you so, so much. Happy birthday, Daddy 🥹🤍

8 years ago tomorrow, I said yes to forever 🤍

And honestly? Forever just keeps getting more beautiful.

Richard and I are celebrating our 8 year wedding anniversary this weekend on the Gold Coast and I’ve been sitting here reflecting on what 8 years of real, deep, unconditional love actually looks like 🥺

Because it’s not always sunsets and champagne. It’s choosing each other on the hard days. The days when life felt uncertain. The days we grieved together. The days we held onto hope when hope felt like the only thing we had left.

14 and a half years this man has been by my side. Through every version of me. Every season. Every storm. And he never once let go 🤍

What 8 years has taught me about love

Real love doesn’t ask you to shrink. It creates space for you to grow.

Real love shows up in the quiet moments, not just the big ones.

Real love is built on trust, especially when you have to surrender to things that are out of your control.

And the most important thing I’ve learned?

You have to choose yourself AND your person, every single day. Not one or the other. Both. 💫

To my Richard 🤍 thank you for being my safe place, my greatest adventure and the most incredible partner I could have ever asked for. Here’s to forever, and every beautiful chapter still to come.

Happy Anniversary my love 🥂✨🤍

A lot of us have this quiet belief in the back of our minds.

“I’ll set better boundaries when I feel more confident.”
“I’ll go for that opportunity when I feel ready.”
“I’ll start showing up as my best self once I feel worthy of it.”

But worthiness doesn’t usually arrive first.

It grows through the way you treat yourself.

Through the standards you set.
Through the choices you make.
Through the moments you back yourself, even when doubt is loud.

Acting worthy can look like:
✨ saying no to things that drain you
✨ speaking kindly to yourself instead of tearing yourself down
✨ walking away from situations that don’t respect you
✨ showing up for the life you want, even when you feel unsure

You don’t need to feel fully confident to start living like someone who values themselves.

Sometimes the confidence comes after the action 🌿

The way you treat yourself teaches your mind what you believe you deserve.

So instead of waiting until you feel worthy, try choosing one small action today that reflects the person you’re becoming.

What would that look like for you right now? 💫

You are allowed to change your mind, even now 🤍

Even if you’ve said yes before.
Even if people expect you to keep going.
Even if you’ve already invested time, energy, or effort.

Changing your mind doesn’t make you flaky.
It means you’re listening to yourself.

Sometimes we stay in situations, routines, relationships, or plans simply because we feel like we should finish what we started.

But growth changes things.

What felt right six months ago might not feel right now.
What once made sense might no longer align with the person you’re becoming.

And that’s okay.

You’re allowed to choose differently as you evolve ✨

You’re allowed to say:
🌿 this no longer feels right for me
🌿 I need something different now
🌿 I’ve grown and my priorities have shifted

Changing your mind isn’t failure.
Sometimes it’s self respect.

Your life isn’t a contract you signed years ago.
It’s something you’re allowed to keep shaping as you go.

How to rebuild trust with yourself after breaking your own promises 🤍

This is something a lot of us carry quietly.

You told yourself you’d start the routine.
You said this time would be different.
You promised you’d set the boundary, stick to the plan, look after yourself.

And when it didn’t happen the way you hoped, it didn’t just feel frustrating. It felt disappointing.

Because the hardest promises to break are the ones we make to ourselves.

But here’s the thing, rebuilding trust with yourself doesn’t come from guilt or punishment. It comes from showing up again, in smaller, gentler ways ✨

Start here:
🌿 make one promise that is actually realistic
🌿 keep it even on the days you don’t feel motivated
🌿 stop setting huge expectations that lead straight to burnout
🌿 speak to yourself with the same patience you’d offer a friend

Self trust is built through repetition.
Not perfection.

Every time you show up for yourself, even in a small way, you’re quietly proving that you’ve got your own back.

You don’t need a dramatic restart.
You just need one small promise you can keep today.

Tell me, what’s one promise you want to start keeping for yourself this week? ✨
