I didn’t expect to do this late winter solo mini-tour, but when these three special things (A @bbgunspgh record release show, a memorial show for Ann Everton and a @timlaska_atoms birthday bash) came up, I said “how can I be down?”

Thanks to @rick_rab, @caincanary and @mrspaintbrushusa for jumping on these height sets with me and spicing things up.

Not to hit you with TMI, but I’ve spent a lot of time these last few months thinking about my pal Ann’s legacy of being a uniter and connector of people. It has me reflecting on times where I’m just stumbling through life and dampening my own impulses to bring people together in the ways I know I can. This week was like a much-needed shock to the system… Seeing people who have been a part of my music life for 20 or 30 years linking up with new people I just met and knowing what kind of possibilities that may lead to is one of the biggest joys of traveling around. I know it would have had Ann cackling as well.

Thanks to everyone who made these shows what they were! (And extra extra thanks to Brian of @darsombra for throwing the show of all shows)
