Wowee, what a Friday night that was! Hot and buzzing with anticipation for a rare home gig for Flame Pilots , and a Co-Ho debut for @thegoodbyechorus ! Absolute kudos goes to the team at @coachandhorseswhitstable (Co-Ho) that looked after all the performers, their passion for live music is heart warming, and to Remain In Light Promotions (@rick_west68) for putting these shows on. 🙏 Thanks go to @dave_hits_things for stirling sound duties and depping on drums, nicely played sir! And to @froud6159 , you did us proud and saved the day stepping in on bass with short notice, you smashed it! Opening act and good mates @thegoodbyechorus charged the atmosphere with their set of atmospheric and life affirming songs, fronted by the enigmatic @kman_143 ... And thank you to all of you from the bottom of our hearts for coming, bigging us up, dancing and singing, it really means the world to us, you guys make it all worthwhile! Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming shows, see you all soon, Keep Music Live! 🔥🤘😎

Excited to head back to @coachandhorseswhitstable this Friday to play my very own songs with all the wonderful guys of the band! Apparently my music is best described as an “intimate, genre-blending tapestry where rootsy American songwriting meets understated British charm” and I’m happy to go along with that! I’ve written a bunch of new tunes and am excited to play them for you with my pals 💙 ========================== 𝗙𝗥𝗜. 𝟱 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗘! 8.30 - Thomas O’Malley 9.30 - China Soul + The Band ========================== If you don’t know what to expect, here’s a lil bio blurb… China’s debut album Secrets & Words, produced by Blockheads member Chaz Jankel, introduced her as a distinctive voice in the UK’s singer-songwriter scene. Her sound naturally fluctuates across a broad spectrum of acoustic music, drawing heavily from folk, traditional soul, Americana, and acoustic pop, with subtle nods to jazz and blues. China is a soulful, understated, and deeply expressive singer-songwriter for those who appreciate genuine storytelling, rich melodies, and the raw texture of a live performance.
