🟦 WWW started on August 20, 2015

This happens to be our 9,000th post (hell ya)

From our founder @champagnecates:

Our first post ever was SLAB BBQ’s 1 year anniversary with $1 drinks and $1 sandwiches. After 11 years I can honestly say that WWW has the same heart, same ethos, same community-driven mentality from day one. I set out to change the way event-goer and event were connected. I wanted to combine my writing background and my partying background to deliver plans and news in a minimal and personable new way. I feel like we really did all that. In my original mission statement I focused on the fact that I set out to do an outstanding job with information - that gathering, managing and using information effectively was paramount to changing the way people made plans — and that stood the test of time and is more valid and accurate than ever too. WWW is and always will be by the people for the people. I’m battling Stage 4 cancer right now and the joy that WWW (and this community) brings me has managed to play a crucial role in keeping me so positive mentally through this. I live for this, and for y’all.

We’ve had so many people contribute to WWW over the years that have had a big impact and it would take more than a few posts to tell that Story (and I will) but for starters eternal love and gratitude to Esteban and Christian and Jose and Ed and Rick and Daniel and Chris Evans and Joaquin and Hannah and Camille and Braden and Esteban 2 and Gideon and Gwyn and Sehen and Sarah and Millie and Jade and Johnny B and also our many other seasonal employees (and friends and family) and beyond, you know who you are, and I love you all.

Here’s to 11 more. We’re still just getting started. WWW to the moon!

Q1: 2026. Figure It Out. The name shows up every day.

Q1 was a roller coaster I didn’t fully document. The truth is, it’s easy to doubt yourself sometimes, especially with social media making it look like everyone else is winning nonstop.

There were a lot of ups and downs. I even thought about changing the name, because some days it’s tough to do… but we always did.

30+ shows, events, and projects .
Worked directly with global brands.
Built with artists, partners, and friends across the world Craig.

…we even launched a gourmet hot dog @glidersatx

Going into Q2, I’m reminded none of this is possible without God. I’m thankful for the time my family sacrifices so I can chase this.

And I’m thankful for our team. Not just the people on-site every day, but everyone who chooses to build with us. The partners who continue to trust us.

We’re still figuring it out. Always will.
