“Cupid’s Daughter” by me 💘

Voluptas, whose name derives from the Latin word for “pleasure” or “delight, is known as the Roman goddess of sensual pleasures. She is the daughter of Cupid, the god of desire, and granddaughter of Venus, the goddess of love.

This Valentine’s Day I wanted to creatively embody the feeling of love and romance. Growing up as a lil girl and watching Disney movies, I’ve always wanted that perfect, fairy tale love story. Being swept off my feet and head over heels for someone special. With each day, I learn more and more about love. I’ve learned that love is a powerful force. It is beautiful, painful, passionate and exciting. Love is pure, innocent and unconditional. Love is accepting, safe and the feeling of being at home. Love is eternal. Love knows no distance nor bounds. Love is community. There are so many ways to love and no perfect way. Love is expansive and limitless. Love makes the world go round. I love love.

Thank you to @porahsooposh & @ricki.lenea for helping me make this idea come to life! I’m in love with these! We did that! ❤️‍🔥💋

Obsessed with the year that I’ve made for myself & the people I got to share it with. Clink clink to a year of dancing, seeing a show, a baby bump, movie nights, and many hours of bus/plane travel. 🫶🏽
