44 tricks for my 44th birthday! -Boston

About a week early but decided to do it in the homeland this time after not being on a board in months. Straight off the plane to the nearest parks

Come join us at Tactics, Bend on Saturday June 27th to check out VICINAGE 2. A local skate vid by Ryan Quigley, and show support for the Bend skate scene.
Hopefully it gets you motivated to get out and make your own video.

“All time” A term used by winter enthusiasts to describe perfect snow quality, perfect lighting and a group of friends bringing the excitement. It seems there are only a handful of these days every decade and today it happened.
Although this did not come easy because of a series of road and mountain closures. A massive winter storm tore through the Cascades, most of the snow fell in Washington.
One buddy and his boss took a day off on Friday to ride some epic powder, I joined them and we met at 5 am. We arrived to Enumclaw and there was a road closure. We hoped it would clear and stuck around until 10 am when the mountain decided not to open based on severe weather. Friday the 13th… cursed
The next day we tried again and it looked hopeful as we ate breakfast watching linesmen and arborists head up toward the mountain. At 10 am it was announced again they would not be opening. At this point there is over 30” of fresh powder waiting untouched.
There is a time clock set for when this snow will vastly deteriorate because of incoming rain, for the entire week starting Monday. Try again tomorrow? Yes!
Today we left at 4:50 and were able to reach the mountain. There were a handful of people who got there and some stayed during the storm in RVs in the parking lot. At 6 am we were told there were police checking employee IDs at a barricade and only letting them up. It was announced the road would be closed until late morning to noon. As we waited to see if any lifts would open we helped shovel out the lift and moved barriers in place for the lift lines.
There were maybe 100-150 people and we started on the Chinook lift at 9 am, warmups, now Forest Queen. FC had mechanical issues for a bit but when it reopened we went up and Chair 6 had just opened. Powder bowl? YES. Pristine views and snow, this run is one that the mountain is known for. We dropped and did the run just as Rainier Express opened and now we are doing runs from summit that are comparable to helicopter or cat riding.
Huge appreciate post for the homies @theaginggaper and @nw_andrewbrown for showing me around the mountain also to @crystalmountain ops for making it happen
