Today we caught up with Ricklyn who is studying Biology (pre-med) at Pitt State University. Ricklyn's favorite thing about college so far...

'Definitely meeting all the new people has been really cool. I really like my house and how small the campus is. I can get around easily and really get to know my professors.'

Any advice for this year's seniors at Humboldt High School?

'Have FUN! Apply for all of the scholarships you can, and enjoy it!'

Ricklyn says students should apply for The Humboldt Promise because...

'One, it's easy to get. All you have to do is keep your grade above a 2.5, and community service is really easy to find too. The Humboldt Promise is so helpful. I feel like I don't have to worry about anything. It's smooth sailing! If I'm unsure of anything, I know that you guys have the answers.'

We're so proud of you Ricklyn. Have a great year!
