POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

After I met BernNadette Stanis — Thelma Evans from Good Times — I had to get ready to submit a photo to WHUR. So I decided to have a photoshoot with some of my favorite things, doing some of my favorite activities, and eating one of DC’s delicacies.

World Figure Cup ’26 🇺🇸

What a season this has been. This World Figure Cup was definitely one I’ll never forget, and I’m so grateful I got to experience it with this team, right here at home in the states.

This was my senior debut on the world stage, and I’m really proud of how I handled everything that came with stepping into a new category. This year came with tons of obstacles, but at the end of the day i’m forever grateful for my support system and everyone who continued to cheer me on.

Thank you to my coach, Cindy Schrader for all of the time and work you’ve put into my skating. Thank you to Stephanie Moore for standing alongside Cindy and being in my corner. Thank you to my friends and family for always supporting me, and to Rick’s Roller Cave for continuing to support my skating and keeping me equipped.

I’m so thankful for this team and this amazing experience. I couldn’t be more happy with all of the memories I’m taking home with me. Lots of work to do and lots of goals for next season!!

It was an honor to represent Team USA again and it was an honor to be one of your 2026 team captains!! Until next time…

Your foot shouldn’t have to adapt to your skate. Your skate should be shaped to your foot.
EDEA starts with an incredible advantage: a thermoformable structure that allows a trained shaper to make precise, localized adjustments to the boot.
Pressure at the ankle, navicular or bunion? Shape it out.
Heel moving? Secure the Achilles area while preserving the heel pocket.
Narrow heel but need more room up front? Fit the heel first, then shape the forefoot.
That’s why I tell skaters: EDEA is a stock boot waiting to be customized to YOU.
Fit matters. Alignment matters. And the right shaping can make a tremendous difference in how the boot feels and performs.

Behind the scenes at a roller event, posted up at the @skates_us booth, and I look over… and it’s Rick Smith (Ricks’ Roller & Ice Cave) doing what he does best—making magic with a welder and a roller plate.

In the world of skate techs, two of the most sought-after people to train under are Bruce Hurd @bruce_living_on_the_edge Hurd and this gentleman, Rick Smith. If you know, you know.

I’ve had the honor of working with Rick, learning from him, and I’m proud to call him a friend. I’m looking forward to working with him again and continuing to learn—because you don’t get this level of craftsmanship without years of doing it the right way.

That’s a wrap! The SkatesUS tech team is proud to have 10 out of the 16 Olympic team skaters in EDEA. What an incredible week at nationals! 🥇#skates_us#edeaskates

Locked in at the Philly NQS with @skates_us — keeping everyone dialed in and ice-ready.

Although David’s setup is second to NONE, I still feel like OSHA may have an issue with how darn tall these benches are… so I guess technically I’m the **highest tech** here, offering **elevated service** for all.
