✨🫧 2024 🩷🙃 ~long & vulnerable post ahead~

I have to be honest , this year was definitely one of if not the worst for me mentally but looking back at these pictures it’s made me realize I have so much to be grateful for. This year may have been tough but it was without a doubt the most transformative. I FINALLY decided to step out of my comfort zone and pack up everything I own and leave my hometown of 24 years, Sarasota, FL to be with my long distance bean after almost two years… it was the best thing for me because it quickly forced me out of my own routine negative habits and put me closer to the people in my life who encompassed healthier habits.

One of the most prominent quotes that stuck with me in high school was , “Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future.”

I never truly believed that until I left Florida… I was so stuck in my own ways that it wasn’t until I wasn’t encompassed by people who enabled me that I realized I was capable of so much more.

I finally stepped into a new career that I love bc I have the most amazing mentors and it will eventually give me the freedom to leave serving which is something I’ve always been longing ever since I broke my knee bc anyone that’s served before knows how taxing it is on your body…

I’m obviously ranting at this point but, this is your reminder that everything you see on social media isn’t real…although this carousel looks cute and happy I definitely struggled A LOT this year, but seriously thank you to everyone who helped make this year one to remember. I love each and every one of you oh so much, even if you’re not pictured yall know who you are🖤✨

“how lucky i am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard” - winnie the pooh

the past 3 years at the emporium have been some of the most challenging and rewarding years of my life. i am so blessed and grateful to have made so many amazing memories and became friends with such lovely people. working on Main Street USA has completely changed my life. between the 50th anniversary fight over starbucks cups, to getting trainer, then getting coordinator, there have been so many unforgettable steps i would not be where i am today without. thank you to every single friend i have made along the way who shaped my time at the big E.

no i am not leaving the company, just transferring to a new role, but this location has changed who i am and i could not be more grateful for the emporium and every single person i met there. i have met every single one of my friends, my boyfriend, role models, and closest people in my life on main street and i wouldn’t change it for the world.

thank you to the emporium and come visit me in disney springs ✨
