Pinterest is great for inspiration. But it doesn’t always show you what it takes to create the finished space. ✨ The beautiful kitchen. The perfectly styled shelves. The gorgeous lighting. The bright white tile. What you don’t always see are the decisions behind those photos. The details that look beautiful also need to work for the way you actually live. Open shelving? Beautiful—but it needs styling and upkeep. White grout? Timeless—but maintenance matters. Statement lighting? Gorgeous—but the right lighting plan can completely change how a room feels. That perfect kitchen? It takes thoughtful planning, budgeting, selections and coordination to bring it all together. At Solimine Contracting, we believe a successful remodel should be more than Pinterest-worthy. It should be beautiful, functional and designed around you. That’s where having your designer and contractor working together from the beginning can make all the difference. ✨ Save this post before you start your remodel. And when you’re ready to turn the inspiration you’ve been saving into a real plan, come visit our Design Center. 📍 188 Danbury Rd., New Milford, CT 📞 203-778-9385 Design. Plan. Build. Live Beautifully. #SolimineContracting #ConnecticutRemodeling #FairfieldCountyCT #LitchfieldCountyCT #KitchenRemodel

🚫 5 Things Quietly Dating Your Kitchen in 2026 (And the design choices replacing them) Kitchen trends aren’t about chasing fads—they’re about creating spaces that feel timeless, functional, and tailored to the way you live. Here are a few design choices we’re seeing homeowners move away from in 2026: ▫️ Small, busy backsplashes ▫️ Builder-grade lighting ▫️ Walls of upper cabinets ▫️ One-dimensional all-white kitchens Instead, today’s kitchens are embracing: ✨ Full-height stone or tile backsplashes ✨ Statement lighting that doubles as art ✨ Cleaner, more open layouts ✨ Rich mixed materials, natural wood tones, layered textures, and warm finishes The best part? You don’t need to gut your entire kitchen to make a dramatic difference. Sometimes strategic updates can completely transform how your space looks and feels. If you’re thinking about renovating—or just wondering where to start—our designers can help you create a kitchen that’s beautiful today and still feels current for years to come. 📍Visit the Solimine Contracting Design Center at 188 Danbury Road, New Milford, CT to explore cabinetry, countertops, tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and more—all with expert guidance under one roof. 👇 Tell us… Which one does your kitchen currently have? We’d love to hear! #SolimineContracting #KitchenRemodel #KitchenRenovation #KitchenDesign #KitchenTrends2026
